DWC Bubble Buckets

  1. Hello fellow growers!! I'm new to the hydroponic world and was wondering if anyone could help me out here. I recently planted two clones in two separate bubble bucket DWC systems. I have three pumps running more than enough air to the two 5gal buckets. One of my clones absolutely thrived as soon as I placed it into the system. The other looks like it went into shock but and is really droopy. Here's the crazy part. Even tho its droopy it has a lot of root growth. In 5 days they are coming out of the net pot. But the healthy cline has no signs of roots thru the pot yet. My question is what would cause drooping leaves but still have decent plant and awesome root growth?. Any input into this would be more than appreciated!! WP_20150120_20_46_08_Pro.jpg WP_20150120_20_45_57_Pro.jpg WP_20150119_20_59_37_Pro.jpg WP_20150117_11_59_21_Pro.jpg

The last picture is of the system I built. Two 5gal buckets running 3 tetra 30gal air pump with 3 stones in each bucket. Using hydrofarm nuits. CFL lights pictured now running 2't5 6 bulb. Plenty of air flow in room temp stay right at 76-80 during light cycle 70-75 during dark. Top watered twice a day until roots reach water. Plant went into shock while transplanting its been 5 days and no sign of coming out but has LOTS of new root growth!!! What's happening to my girl???!!

  2. I would get those roots wet. Top watering twice a day isn't enough. Expanded clay dries up pretty quick. Try bringing the water level up until roots are submerged.

  3.
You mention the roots are getting "more than enough" air. How many litres per minute exactly?

They look very sickly, what is your EC or ppm? What is your pH? Where is the waterline relative to the net pot?

What temperature range should the water be?
