are there any ways to make certain threads not appear in new content?

    Is there any way to hide threads posted by others from showing on your browsing or searches?

    You can use advanced filtering but it is still not going to do what you requested. New Content displays all content posted

    I always thought a good feature would be to be able to filter the time line/new content so you can leave out certain sub forums.
