Vote to legalized weed#

Those petitions never do anything. 
Still signed it anyways. 

 

Any website that says "Create Petition" is never going to work. It's much more complicated than that.

 

I signed this a few days after it was created and it was around 2000 then. Now looking at it again and seeing that it's only at 18000 is very disappointing

 

I mean... if we could have a petition where EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE that you know, your friends know, your great granny knows, sign on 4/20, with heavy advertisements, billboards, computer ads, email, text alert, whatever... the main point being everyone knows that a petition is happening on that day... we might have a significant number of people signing it...

I would recommend you read up on how laws get pass at the federal level, which is what this petition is aiming for. Look in the sticky section of the legalization forum titled: bills, initiatives, and referendums ohh my!
 
After your study come back to us and give us your conclusions.

 

It already did happen. The very first petition on that site that got enough signatures to be addressed was to legalize cannabis. Their response was basically that we could go fuck ourselves and then used all the same old tired proven false cliches to say that marijuana is dangerous, they are the government and they know better than us.

 

100+ post to start a thread. Come on mods.
