    Hi all!

So I've got a couple grows under my belt but none were too productive. Both times I ended up having to cut early. So this will be my first FULL grow too!

    Running:

    2-5 gallon bucket DWC
793GPH air pump to Master Kush
    Small pump to bagseed
    Gen Hydro FloraNova Grow
    Gen Hydro FloraNova Bloom
    Gen Hydro Silica
    Dutch Masters Gold Root Zone
300w Led Full Spectrum 3w light

So I got some master kush beans from cannabis-seed.us and another seed from a friend. He said it was white widow but since I don't really know we'll just call it bagseed from now on!

I will be doing a scrog, just gotta build one first.

1st pic is Master Kush. 2nd pic is bag seed. Bag seed popped 3 or 4 days before Master Kush.

  2. Any help is appreciated! Sub in for fun during the grow!

  3. Day 2

Not really much growth up top today.
Check out the roots on the bagseed though!

I'll probably just update every couple days or something until I start getting noticeable growth everywhere. ::peace::

  4. Day 6

Still no noticeable growth from the Master Kush. Bagseed has taken off and now has 3 sets of leaves. Transplanted both into new black food grade 5 gallon buckets with 6" net pots built into the lids. The old blue buckets were allowing light inside and I didn't want to risk it.

Hopefully the MK will get going once the roots hit the water!

    Day 16

Master kush finally got some roots to the water to start growing! Bagseed is getting big and has roots everywhere already. Topped the bagseed after the third full set of leaves.

  7. Hey there Juicy :D I'll sub along if ya don't mind. a lot like my grow minus the LED :) do you have experience with other types of lights and prefer the LED? I mostly like the part about way less electricity usage with them

  8. LEDs are just what I started with for the least power use. I live in a city so a high power bill could spell trouble. Thanks for the sub!

  9. Day 25

Bagseed below is absolutely exploding with growth. I can't seem to get my ppms right though. They seem to shoot up within just a couple days. Not too much burn really but it doesn't seem to take up nutes much. Have had some pH issues ranging from 5.4-6.6 so guess that's it.

Master kush is looking good too. I think the LED was too close and folded up a couple leaves from stress but it seems to be doing good.

  10. Got a new 4x4x8 grow tent by growlab 2 days ago. The plants have literally doubled in size just in two days because no light is lost now!

  11. Day 30 of veg!

Bagseed is showing signs of nute burn but not a whole lot and its running right about 1020ppm. Don't know if I should flush or not yet cause its not that bad.

1424010580817.jpg Master kush is starting to grow some massive leaves but the newest leaves are kinda slow to open.

1424010594432.jpg This is a leaf on the MK. Iml think it might have been NitroTox so I flushed and refilled to 450ish ppm. Was at 846ppm. What do you all think?

I'm also going to build a Scrog this week to go in there.

Here's the bagseed. Forgot to add it to last post

  13. I don't know gh products that well but over 1000ppm on girls that small is why your seeing nute burn you should be somewhere between 550-700 go a little lighter so they can recoup from the burn also do you have a ph pen if so what are you at.

  14. I changed the res out about 3 days ago. Set the ppm at 450. Next day ppm was at 675 and the plant is looking deficient. First time I had this issue.

So if your ppm's were at 450 and next day 600's that means nutes are too high and she's drinking more water than nutes, you should be at a point to where there is little fluctuation in the ppm's day to day, or your having massive evaporation issues, I always cover net pot up to the stem leaving room for stem to grow but this helps cut algae growth and prevents evaporation

  16. The humidity is usually pretty high in there. The walks feel wet when I first open it. What can I do to slow it from evaporating?

For me heat isnt a issue I use tin foil but if heat is a issue (for most it is) you can get panda film or Mylar, basically I cut a circle out the size of my lid make a slit to slide onto stem and make a hole about 1/2" bigger on either side of stem as to not restrict the stem growth. I leave them on untill they are in the flower room and the canopy keeps light from getting to the bucket.

  18. I have black buckets and blacks lids with net pots in them. The water temp is around 74ish. I know its high but my DM root zone is doing its job and keeping the roots a nice white and growing strong

  19. Yea I use the same (zone by DM) does a wonderful job same thing as far as net pots too but I cover whole lid including the open section up to the stem and it cuts damn near all the evaporation down and you want to try and bring those temps down to the 60's less chance of bacteria even tho zone is the shit haha, and oxygen is more dissolvable in lower temps meaning more oxygen available to roots I'm sure you knew this tho. So maybe try panda film to put over the top (white side up) and maybe that will help with temps and evaporation.

  20. Update:

1424611613327.jpg here they are. Bagseed is huge. This master kush is so temperamental. She responds to every move I make and doesn't tolerate too much at once.

Tell me what you all think.
