  1. Hello Everyone@grasscity!

Been lurking around, reading and such, decided it was time to get a thread going :)  Starting a new cycle from seed, SO! here we go!

I am growing some pretty unique strains,

got some GDP x fireball, dog kush x honeybee,  porn star- my "money maker" its a special blend of land race sativa x critical mass x Sensi star.  Most phenos I have seen so far have been 8 weeker powerhouses testing 22-28% thc, then some pre 98 bubba x haze x skunk x Northern lights, and Lastly  Larry OG (tested at 29% thc) x Blue Moonshine

Growing in Coco with the full cana line A + b, rhizo, PK 14/15, enzyme.

2k Watts HPS, Hortilux eye bulbs changed every 3 cycles flower

600 watt MH dimmable for veg.  Start seeds at 1/2 power till set of 3 leaves, then I crank up to full power.

RIght now handwatering, but I use Blumits, once they are in their final homes of 5 gallon smart pots.

    Here we go !

  2. So, looks like 18/24 germination rate on the first planting of seeds.  2 Fireball x GDP and 3 Honeybee x dog kush, and 1 dream lotus x sensi star failed to germinate.  I went ahead and planted my remaining 5 seeds of super silver haze x jabbas stash.  Figured doing all 10 on those to find the best pheno would be ideal

Everything is moving right along.  I transplanted one into the 1 gallon smart pot, wanted to see the effect of transplanting earlier.  I am pretty certain they other seedlings will get bigger quicker at first due to extra oxygen in the root zone, but we shall see.

Everything is still on 1/4 canna A b cal mg, and rhizo.  I am going to bump that up here next feeding to 1/2 strength.

  4. They are doing phenomenal, roots are going ape shit, pouring out the bottom of the pot. They are in my mind, officially vegging now. They have 4-5 main nodes, with most of them showing inter-nodes along the stem. Gotta say, they are progressing much faster then I have seen in soil. I gave them their first neem spray as a preventive, going to cycle that every 7 days. I had been running the 600 MH 24/7, cut it down to 20/4 for the remainder of their veg cycle. Planning on running them in veg for 2 more weeks in their 6x6 squares, then the healthiest, largest 8 will be be transplanted into 5 gallon smart pots, vegged 1-2 additional weeks to fill the pot with roots, then flower cycle. I am anticipating starting by the 1st of march. I am going to be purchasing a veg tent, no more closet light leaks for me. The plants that don't make this flower cycle are going to become MONSTERS...going to veg them the full flower cycle, topping and topping and training the whole time. That is the plan anyway!

  5. As I am sure many of you spot, looks like I have quite a bit of kush leaning indica phenos. Should prove interesting! Hopefully I get some that yield well...kushes generally aren't known for massive yields lol.

  6. Dog kush x honeybee

  10. Well, got home from the vacation and the plants were much larger.  They all needed water, and one of the GDP x FB was droopy and took some water stress.  The rest were unharmed, just dry.  Some of my new gear arrived, including my 10 count of 3 gallon smart pots.  I transplanted the biggest SSH x jabbas, all 4 wet dreams, a couple honeybees x dogs into the 3 gallons.  One of the best looking plants right now (SSH X JB) showed pistols, so she went into a 5 gallon smart pot, and is for sure making it into the first flower cycle.  So we now have 10 plants in 3 gallons, 1 showing female in a 5 gallon, then the rest are in 6x6 squares.  The GSC that was in a solo cup made it into a sqaure now to.  For only being cupped for a few days, it was VERY rooted.  As I transplanted, I added another tablespoon of mycos per plant.  They seem to be very healthy roots, no signs of any root aphids or any pests.  Seems the rhizo, coco, and mykos are really pumping out thick, hairy white roots.

I watered all plants with full strenght A/B/Rhizo and added some B1 since I was transplanted and the water stress.  I'm going to give them another week veg, top, let them fully recover, then off to flower.

Anyways, enough yackin! heres some pics

The one that took the water loss damage is so obvious...hopefully it doesn't stunt out to bad

  11. Things are progressing.  They should be nice and big n bushy with another week or two of veg.  Patience is not my strong suit, but just gotta be for now.

Anywho, here are some pics.  I finally figured out how to white balance the yellow outta the pics lol.

  12. I went thru today, and super cropped everything. They were topped last week, so they now had quite a bit of new growth of the new tops. I took the 2 main tops, bent them down till a little pop occurred and they stayed in position. most have extensive side branch as well so those got supercropped down as well. In the next week, I expect them to be nice bushes just in time for flowering :) It will be hard to choose which are the lucky 8, as they all looking pretty robust. Obviously, the smaller plants are out (pretty obvious in the pics the ones being trained and the normal ones) My hands and room reeks like skunk and diesel after fucking with them...definitely some odorfull plants this round.

    Anyway here are some pics.
