turning on cfl without switch?

    I have a lamp that has no switch to turn it on should I plug it in the wall then screw the bulb in or screw the bulb in then plug it in the wall, thanks!

    It sounds like both ways are working, but! Don't take the risk and just wire a switch or a timer to be sure :)
