Haha, I did this for a while only way to keep my tent cool. It was a small window though and just looked like a black sheet from the outside.
I have blinds + nets I'm talking about heat wise, do they give out eat other than the duct, does heat go through the tent material?
I can assure you that nobody gives a shit about your tent. If you're worried about the heat signature being read by FLIR, you are making yourself paranoid for no reason. What you need to be concerned with is ensuring that you keep the smell taken care of and make sure that the fact that you are growing is not discernible by someone who is outside of the home or even inside of the home in a different room.
