I washed golf carts over the summer. It wasn't the best job I'd ever had, but it was a job nonetheless. Anyway, yeah I went to work high all the time. I wasn't the only one either. A lot of us did. No one really cared. The boss didn't care if we were high as long as we got our work done. He just didn't like when we smoked at the course on our breaks. shiiiit i've been high and drunk at my last job. i think they know about it, but were so desperate for help and i did such a good job that they never confronted me about i.
Ohhh yeah...my last job especially. I was the closing manager at a Burger King and the BK was sort of in the hood. Literally all of my closers were drug dealers and we would smoke blunts all night long in the dumpster pad. We would all bring our own bags and throw in. Sometimes we would even stay at BK after we finished all our work / clocked out and smoke mor eon the roof and just shoot the shit. Ahhhh, good times. Now I work in a drug t esting lab...Iol... a bit ironic but yeah I've shown up high a few times. It's a lot more professional environment than BK so definitely not coming in blitzed or anything, just ya know...comfortably high. And not too often.

I smoked once when I worked at 7-11 and everything went to hell quickly...See, we were the only liquor store for miles and in the middle of the ghetto. So, my ass heads out and rips an L real quick a few hours before I got off and the overnight showed up; roll in, struttin' my shit, feelin' good and whatnot...Then, boom! The last minute rush of booze junkies and thugs tryin' to fill their cups, ah fuck, and that isn't even the worse part of it, no, that was counting cigarettes. Fuck me, I counted those fuckers three different times and came up with wildly different numbers...1,000? No, that ain't right...200, how? 500? Fuck it, it is 500 then.
Ha that sucks. I think a job that involves numbers can really fuck up your concentration especially if it's on the spot.
I use to manage a bookstore for Texas Tech University. Our regular routine was to smoke, eat some cereal and watch The Price is Right and Family Feud.
We do pre-employments, randoms, post accidents and reasonable suspicions. And "other" is sometimes checked too. Oh but for me yeah I just had to take a pre-employment which somehow by the grace of god i managed to pass. The company chooses 1 person per year to randomly test. Watch...it will be me lol
I've been high at every single job I've worked at. Too many stories to remember / mention / write out. lol.
I didn't get high at my job for the first 6 months or so but now I bring my vape and take a few puffs on my breaks. Being high doesn't really slow me down or impair my thinking. Plus people can't tell you're high if you appear alert. never drunk though
I get way to high and to much at my current job Im a secuerity officer at bayer science lab. It's in the middle of no where and im alone 93% of the time watching over a big ass building and a greenhouse. The most excitement i seen is tell a dumbster diver to leave.Well to cope with the lonleyness i smoke heavy and i hotbox most of the time...of course i can hancle my shit. If things get real i know what to do.
It was very interesting lmao, I tried not to talk. I had the day off and I got called in, my boss said she didn't care if I was drunk but to keep it on the dl. It was a fun day for sure.
one year working for a Best Buy as a sales associate, and two years working for a Papa Johns as a delivery driver. I think I handled it pretty well, was baked 95% of the time at Papa Johns, and about half the time at Best Buy (only because I could only smoke on my way in and on lunch) all in all, the only thing I did to compensate was mentos and avoiding talking to customers immediately after smoking. I remember all those nights at PJ, after closing, just sitting in the parking lot passing a bowl around (we got griped at for smoking in the store, although to be fair we also bitched at the GM for bringing a half empty bottle of vodka in with him lol, but yah had to take it outside.)
