  2. moderators? anyone with some advice?

  3. Just let it dry out this next time before you water. You want to make sure it is dry 1 or 2 inches deep. The plant doesn't need nutrients for at least the first few weeks after sprouting...how old is it?

Today is day 20 from seed.  My moisture meter reads dry, the leaves feel a little crispy and dried out near the tips of the lower leafs. does it look overwatered or  not watered enough?

Take that moisture meter and toss it out. You're not growing petunias. Stick your finger in there and feel if its dry to the second knuckle before watering. Not damp 2 the 2nd knuckle....dry. It doesn't look like its in that bad of shape, its hard to see any crispy dryness in the pic. It could be the beginnings of over watering. The top of the soil looks like its starting to dry out. How is it under the top inch or 2? Dry or soggy? How often have you been watering it and how much?

  6. stuck my finger in, and medium was dry was dry.   I have been watering as needed, usually very lightly twice a day just enough to keep the medium from drying out too quickly, then I let it dry before full watering usually once every 3-4 days.

You can water more that mix has lots of perlite.

Dont go ramming you finger in there, the soil is not your girlfriend.

dont finger fuck the roots they are key to a happy plant.

Pick up the pot, if its light its dry, if its heavy its fine or even wet.

  8. So, I gave her a good feeding of big bloom at 1/2 normal strength and she perked up right quick.  short and bushy with little fan leafs growing off the main stem.  Any advice when I should start to LST?

Note: the acurite temp/humidity meter does not read accurately under UV LED's. Actual ambient temp is somewhere around 73-77 degrees.

its very standard to test with a finger. A ton of us grow under a scrog net, in large pots or both. Explain to me how your supposed to pick that up. No don't finger fuck it but I figured the op was smart enough to figure that out. Since he waters everyday, he may not know how light it should get is all. It doesn't hurt the plant unless you have Sasquatch fingers

  11. The leafs were wilting as if it were over watered and feeling the medium told me nothing I didn't already know, so I gave her more water w/nutes.  I chose a 6" pot to keep her super small and with a 300w LED light panel there is very little stretch.  Watering every other day now and she seems to be doing well. I don't plan to pick her up after I start LST.

  12. On Day 33 and my girl is developing some black/brown spots on the leaves, I made an organic foliar spray with vitamins and gave her a good spraying, then put her back under the lights, which was a big mistake.  Black marks on the leaves, one is yellowing, they are all droopy again, they seem to have stopped growing in height.  What could be causing the black marks? I need help before it gets too bad.

  13. Take the plant out of the saucer, at least raise it so it can completely drain, so when you water, fill to the rim and let it run all out! I can usually water every other day. Do the same with feeding, don't let them sit in the run off..
Maybe try a clear water flush, flush 3x with pH'ed water.
Here's a pic of my girl, maybe try some root stimulator... this is Goji og
    Good growin'...TS

Stop spraying it with crap, don't spray the leaves unless you are trying to kill pests.

The yellowing looks to me like it's pot bound. I would put it in a pot of about 10-15 litres and use half strength nutrients on every watering

It's important to have a good wet/dry cycle to allow air to the roots. But because the pot is so small, over watering probably isn't an issue at this time

I have been foliar spraying, because the leaves are very rigid, and are dry to the touch despite how green they look. I am going to flush it really good see if that helps or makes it worse.

A larger pot, is not an option.

  16. flushed her out yesterday and this is how she looks today. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping she doesn't end up in my trash can.

  17. It's a Magnesium deficiency and so I gave her some distilled water and magnesium sulfate today. The leaves look like shit, new growth will probably have the same problem.   I'm going to give her another week or so to see if she pulls through if not I'm trashing her. Lesson learned about magnesium deficiency.

I wouldn't worry about trying to pick out specific mineral deficiencies. Pick a complete and balanced nutrient line and if you are low on nutes just raise the dosage.

Using distilled water might be part of the problem, what's wrong with your tap water?

How come you can't put it in a bigger pot? That's what it needs

You must stop the spraying, nutes need to be given to the roots, not the leaves

  20. I think you are using too many nutes...tiger bloom and big bloom? I don't know, but mine are large and healthy and I use a small amount of nutes from the tiger bloom every other watering.
