Already Vaped Weed

  1. Hey guys,

Recently got an Arizer Solo. I've been saving the 'already-vaped-weed'. What do you guys do with your already vaped weed? Should I chuck it or can I make some kind of edibles with it?

I have a Solo too! My ratio is 4 grams of already vaped (ABV) to 1 package of brownie mix. I powderize the herb in a coffee grinder, add it to the brownie mix, and follow the instructions on the box. I divide it into 16 brownies if I want a mild effect, or 9 brownies for a medium effect. If I'm in the mood for a strong/sleepy effect, I eat more than one brownie, and/or vape from the Solo while I'm waiting for the edibles to kick in.

If you do the math, then you'll see that I am eating between 0.25g-1.0g per day, depending on desired effect. That is for a 140lb guy, everyday use. One of my friends has a much higher tolerance and uses 1g/brownie (so, 16g total in a pan of 16 brownies, and he might eat more than one). I never recommend eating more than 1 gram for anyone's first edible experience. Less if you're not sure you can handle it. It is actually preferable to slightly under-dose, in my experience, because you can stay awake to enjoy it. ;)

Hope that is helpful advice? :)

  3. Veryy helpful!!! It's a good place to start!

  4. Edibles are the best use. I save it and if I start running low of my smoke stash then I will mix fresh herb with avw.  I've even sold a few avw joints to my light weight friends and they have complimented me on the high... lmao. You can make tea with it too but the taste might be off by itself.

  5. I also have the Solo and I've been doing the same thing.  I will probably wait until I have 14 or so grams then make a tincture out of it.  You can use the tincture to make edibles or just take a dose right from the bottle.

    - freeze 14 grams of it for 24 hours
    - add 150ml of Everclear
    - shake for 15 minutes
    - back in freezer for 3 hours, shake agressively for 15 minutes
    - finally reduce the liquid down to maybe 30ml and you should have a nice potent tincture (depending on how much was left in your vaped bud)

I reduce the liquid by putting it in a glass container and setting it on a hotplate, making sure that the temp doesn't exceed 175 degrees (boiling point of alcohol)

I found a great recipe on here for tincture, here is the link.

I probably only vape about half the THC out of my buds because I know I'm going to use the leftovers for tincture.  I also don't want the buds to be vaped to the point where they taste burnt.

  6. Just mix some with nutella/peanut butter/ice cream and eat it. You don't need to bake it but if u want to go ahead

  7. The link and thread are GREAT places to start, if you want a tincture or for general info. If you make a tincture follow PsychedelicSam's recipe, not the one above.

You could also make oil, butter or a smoothie.

It is commonly referred to as. AVB or ABV, already vaped bud or already been vaped.

You can search those topics and see what appeals to you.

Bottom line DON'T throw it out, it has some uses.

  8. yeah chuck it... thats the most logical idea

  9. Agreed, follow Psychedelic Sam's recipe but you do not want to decarb already vaped buds. (probably obvious to most)  I've made several batches of tincture following Sam's recipe to the letter and they all turned out great. (with the exception of one that I screwed up)

  10. How dark do you vape your herb? I am just curious because I vape mine pretty dark, light to dark brown and my ratio for a batch of brownies is one box to one ounce of AVB. With those I usually cut into 16, eat one for a nice stone, two to get ripped

  11. Cracker + AVB + Nutella or peanut butter. There's no need to cook the AVB but you can if you want.
