political awakening

  1. who else feels that the 2-party system has failed America? all these people are holding onto their American pride like it's the 1800s and we are still the best country in the world. ignorance is bliss, and flowing throughout this country. it's sad when you are not allowed to talk about anything meagerly important around a group of friends, because it is "boring" and no one understands it. I feel the way people live their lives now is pitiful, because only a small percentage fully understand what it's really about. I don't mean to talk shit about "sheeple" or people different from me, it just pains me seeing people devote their lives to consumerism, eating poison, working for someone else's profit, and supporting a truly evil government.

the illusion of choice is real in the world today. are you truly free? how can your political ideas be represented today if you aren't a republican or democrat? all of our food is sprayed with chemicals and genetically modified, which if fine if you are aware of that, but in the land of the free, shouldn't we be able to control what we eat?

all of these brand names you are familiar with, brainwashed by their commercials, taken advantage of subliminally, they are all owned by the same small group of people.

I never try to hard convincing people to "wake up", because it is almost impossible to get anyone to change the way they see the world. like any of us who think we have "woken up" people must find the truth on their own, which is why it can be so difficult and the public will stay enveloped in their daily, empty, controlled lives.

    thoughts?

Good post. Slightly fringy, but I like it.

I'd like to know what you think it's "really about." Your answer would be the foundation of my opinion of you, for what that's worth.

As for "waking people up" I've stopped being Paul Revere a while ago, it just doesn't seem to work. However, if you can only make 1 or 2 people think differently for even just a second, you've succeeded. That being said I am not a radical harboring conspiracy theorist, and I don't believe alot of the insane bullshit you'll read on the internet.

  3. The problem with America is that everything becomes a political issue. Too many people want to fit in the box of being liberal or conservative, Democrat or republican. Not enough people are willing to vote third party so the corruption and insanity continues.

  5. well some people assume I mean illuminati or alien control, but the people in power are in power purely for control or money. name any American politicians that have truly been for the people. we revolted against Britain well before the income tax! we revolted over a tea tax. how much of our "money" actually comes home with us? when you add up everything we spend in taxes we barely have anything left. people are trained by society to accept govt as a part of our life but we are the ones fueling and funding our own captors

The KGB called this ideological subversion and the CIA certainly picked up on it. There's a psychological / sociological reason for this. It takes 20 years to solidify an ideology. This is because it takes about that long to teach a new idea to a fresh generation. After this time, minus individual exceptions, you can bombard a person with facts, data and logic and it will not change their ingrained ideology. Now it takes 3 generations for an ideology to do a total shift since that is about how long it takes for the 'control' generation to die out and the newly educated one to move in. And again it will take another 20 years for a shift to slide. It's the reason the hippies didn't win but we're seeing the many of the fruits of their labor now. I have an hour and a half video of a KGB defector talking about this if you're interested. Basically if you want to change the world (or hold it down), plan a generation ahead and put yourself in a position of influence or education.

    There's 4 stages to controlling a nation.
    Ideological Subversion / Demoralization
    Destabilization
    Crisis
    Normalization

  8. yeah I've heard about this before it makes total sense... I'd love it thanks

  9. Talking about being "awake" is dangerous.

It causes immediate closure. The idea that every opposing opinion is already false, because they are still buried in the subconscious of propaganda.

While possibly somewhat true, the mere idea itself is hugely narcissistic.

It discourages thought in general by default because it blocks off all input from.discredited sources (everything that opposes your view)

  14. Slaves to the ones in power, who take our free will away from us, and convince us it's for our own good

Slaves to monopoly of force, monopoly of law, and monopoly of money creation.

  16.
No one can take away free will, it can only be surrendered ...

    Trite, I know.

  17. The laws imposed on us by the ones who 'know best' restrict and compromise our free will. You can't buy these drugs, you can't be drunk and disorderly in public, you must pay the government a percentage of what you earn. They are, perhaps, 'best' for society, but that's not free will

  18. George Washington said this about a 2 party system. His wisdom is as sound today as it was then.

And as long as you live your children live and most of the people of the past have lived ... it will be like that. For better or worse every society of any age has some form of rules, laws, political system etc etc. Every generation complains about it, about the best you can do is try to prosper within the system that is set.

  19. George Washington warned us of political parties. His wisdom stands true today as it did way back then. Basically any system that has parties both will fight each other, put personal gain above the countries etc etc. It is what it is though. There are to many things tied to our system now for anyone of independent mind to prosper. You get a independent President in well he has the support of no party. They will ensure nothing happens and he/she goes down in flames.
