Virginians, SB 686 is before the Virginia Senate. This will make the laws in Virginia much simpler though it will not make it legal. 60% of Virginians are reported to support legalization, and this would be a step forward. I am writing to ask you to please write your Senator. Just a quick not "vote yes to SB 686". will do. I spent about 45 minutes writing every Virginia Senator, my district or not, to vote yes on this bill. It was very simple. I found the web page that listed all the Senators. They each had links to send emails. I just cut and pasted my message, changing pronouns when necessary. I have many positive responses. So please, take a moment to write your Senator. Writing a Senator does not put you on a list to be watched or busted. It's safe to write them. Everyone, wish us luck, please.
