I may have been among the moderately few who sincerely found enjoyable longevity in the original version of Diablo 3,but this new edition is fucking great. Honestly I had not played enough of the two preceding titles to form an opinion on the endgame, but its agreed that this is more true to Diablo II than before. Improved crafting, makes gear a lot more fun without pages to collect. Adventure mode seemed like a cool gimmick, but feels sort of like a very fast paced MMO raid when you start running Nephalem Rifts after spending time grinding bounties(you need to do mini quests to earn currency to unlock a randomized raid dungeon, sometimes generated as a special dungeon like the classic cow level or the trippy goblin dungeon. In short, this is definitely a must buy for Diablo or ARPG/ Western RPG fans. If anyone plays on 360 hit me up at GT:Nerdy Marley420. I'm looking to run rifts/farm.
I read today a taiwanese man died from playing diablo 3 for 40 hours, lol. Idk if thats old news though
Oh yeah I figured. There are probably more real Blizz fans and a good bit of WoW players, and that makes a shitton of difference lol. You either get the "I love rpgs like final fantasy-hey why aren't we watching cut scenes and collecting memos (not FFXIV tho), or the achievement dudes who use mods to get everything Its not everyone. There is a large amount of hardcore players, but its still comparably the minority, at least compared to PC. All in all, an addictive game. I hope to survive T2 soon, but I see the loot game really doesn't seem to end, by looking at some more advanced players
I dunno why there aren't more posts about this game here. But i fucking love this game. I play on xbox one and have wasted soo much of my life on it. I have every character level 70 except the monk, and 3 level 70 hardcore characters, and my wizard is playing alone on torment 6 now. There's still so much left to do though.. Kinda wondering if anyone has a fully upgraded gem of ease they're willing to trade for/give me
i just got the game on ps4 and i can already tell its gonna be addicting as fuck. if anyone wants to play my psn id is HighTimesRy, but keep in mind I'm a pretty low level right now
My friends been trying to get me to buy this since launch, didn't like the demo I played of it so just kinda wrote it off. Just bought it this weekend and I've been addicted since.
i made a crusader and was just kicking ass. but then i made a wizard and im struggling in act 1, every attack seems weaker and i cant demolish groups as fast like i did with the crusader should i stick with the wizard? ive heard its better to go with more ranged attackers than melee when your in a group of other players
My wizard is my strongest and favorite character and can play torment 6 by himself. I always just play by myself so all my characters are set up that way and the wizard is the most durable of all of mine (though he also has the best stuff). But the point is, the wizard is badass if used properly. Also it takes awhile before he really becomes effective.
Yea imma do some more wizard. How do u guys manage difficulty, just start on normal and move ur way up as u level up? I moved up to expert when i got to act 3 and got some gems Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Yeah, I try to get it as high as possible while still being able to get through shit relatively quickly. That way I try to maximize my exp/hour. You'll find a place where it just feels 'right'.
My wizard is so damn strong that the hardest difficulty Diablo can't even scratch him. I left my character in front of him AFK, ate lunch, came back and didn't lose any health at all.
just starting on the PS4, playing as a witch doctor. no multiplayer 40+ campaign hours and 6 different classes, so I thought this would be worth picking up for the replay value?
