Bubble Bucket Newbie

Discussion in 'Hydroponic Growing' started by Deepdiver4285, Jan 8, 2015.

  1. This is my first time trying a bubble bucket. My question is since its my first time should I try a different plant first like a tomato plant or something just so I know what I'm doing cause I've read a lot on this bucket but the whole nutrients thing is kinda confusing. If anybody has any good links on using nutrients please let me know. I've read a lot on here but I'm still confused. Thanks for any help you guys give.

What has been the pain mate?

  6. When you drill the holes, have the drill set to a low speed and take your time. I ruined the first bucket by drilling to fast and the hole was not a perfect circle. Didn't pass the leak test :(

  7. What are you drilling? Are you recirculating the reservoirs?

Here is a black plastic RUB with a lid.

6 holes drilled with net pots inserted.  It doesn't matter if these holes leak because they are above the waterline.  Another 2 holes are drilled in the lid for the air lines,  again,  these are above the waterline so no risk of leaks
