There's plenty of speculation indicating the rightist parties are eventually going to become the majority leaders in France.
 
 
This latest occurrence  is sure to have tilted the minds of many voters in France.

 

UMP is definitely right-leaning, although I can see them changing their views to appease the ever growing distaste for political Islam amongst the French.
