Well seeing as how they're gonna be having something on this years ballot and need 355,000 signatures for the state to vote on a bill abouy not only medicinal, but recreational use as well. Come November I'll be putting my signature down, end this pointless prohibition in 2015!
I don't know the full details, the news article didn't go into specifics, just a general overview of what was needed for the state to vote on the bill. I do know that only certain people will be allowed to grow/distribute it. All in all it's a step in the right direction.
2016 will be the first big round of legalization. Ohio likely will be there too. Reason is there's no incumbent president. Hilliary Clinton will likely be the Democrat candidate. Impossible to tell who the Republican candidate will be. The pot advocates have learned from California's disastrous legalization failures. Twice previously legalization was put on the ballot but on midterm elections. Thus it lost, now they know to wait for a presidential year cause it'll do two things. One is it'll fire up young people to vote, and young people overwhelmingly vote democrat. So if not Ohio perhaps a bordering blue state will which is almost as good.
We need to do all we can speak to family members and friends so they know its not all about getting high. Let them know about all the health benefits.
