Buying first vaporizer

  1. I was looking at vaporizers online and was thinking about purchasing the mflb but I came across one on Amazon for a fraction of the price at £25 ($40). I was wondering if it would actually vaporize the weed and not just combust it as I would rather buy a bong if that was the case.

  3. I havent heard that many good things about those types of vaporizers. I've heard their heat display thing can be off by around 100 degrees ans that they often combust your herb. Ive been tempted to buy one before due to the low price, but with vapes you generally get what you pay for. I have had an mflb for around 2 years and its been a good vape and I still use it almost every day. They have an awesome warranty too if it happens to break

  4. I think I'm going to go for mflb as I know they're reliable instead of wasting my money on piece of junk that won't work properly

  5. when you say it like that it makes perfect sense.............

If you don't mind getting a bigger unit I'd get the Firewood vaporizer over the MFLB it hits harder.

Or if you wouldn't mind getting something that looks like a pipe look into the Vapor Genie it's about $60. The only problem with the VG is that you have to use it in a low wind environment (like not outside).

There is a couple more I'd consider which are the Lotus and the Hammer, both around $100 but they run off of butane instead of batteries so you don't have to worry about charging them, just keep a can of butane around.

  7. Just got my MFLB the other day. Worked great for the hotel on New Years!

I was thinking about getting the power adapter 2.0 and a draw whip maybe. Does anyone know of vapor seller.com is legit? They have the MFLB and some accessories on their for a decent price. Anyone ever order from there?

  8. I use mine with the jet lighter that came with my Lotus. Makes the VG taste cleaner as well. Just need to be a bit more careful to avoid combusting though, apart from that it works well and won't soot up the silicon carbide. :)

Those cigar lighters combust the butane more efficiently I'm not surprised that they taste cleaner, but the downside of burning all of it is that it is a higher temperature. I'm sure there is a learning curve with that, but isn't there a learning curve with every vaporizer? The plus side of using a cigar lighter is that you can use it in windy conditions.

  10. yes, you do have to be careful as combusting will be much easier due tio the higher heat created.  Saying that though, I've only combusted once with my VG and that was with a normal lighter.  I've found that very high quality refined butane is best (as I'm sure you know).for flame stability and no flavour..
