Reverting to veg

Discussion in 'Advanced Growing Techniques' started by JNH420, Jan 4, 2015.

  1. Hi, I've reverted a white widow back to veg about a week ago and so far it's looking good. How long do you need to wait to put it back into flowering?

  2. Why change to veg from flowering? It's probably gonna stress your plant (a lot). What you're doing is like telling a plant that noooo, you're not supposed to live the life of a normal plant, you'll be a summer->winter->summer plant, growing for all infinity, never to cease existing.

I believe you should wait at least one month for her hormones to get back to normal. You're supposed to be able to flower her again. Don't listen to "stupid" above me, probably never even grown before.

  4. Reverting back to veg takes a while. I do wwidow clones in flower and it takes a solid two weeks before I start to see a change.
As much as I experiment I don't think I've actually interrupted a flower cycle for less then a month. It seems to me that it would act like a light interruption and herm.. But I would love to know for sure!

I am so open minded you should only think like me..

  5. Well for anybody asking my WW is doing pretty good. I flowered it, got the buds, and reverted it back for 3 weeks, and now back to flower. I had a lot of growth within the 3 weeks (I was surprised). It's been about a week since I changed my lights back to 12/12.

  8. I reverted the first plant I ever finished indoors and then put her outside for that summer. Each bud site i left kicked out like 4-8, 4' long branches, she ended up being a huge 8'x8' x 5 foot tall plant, and that was with a season shortened by early rain. She had over 50 branches by the time she was done, even immature I got almost a qp off of her.
