This is going to be my first grow. I have been doing a ton of reading I don't want anything to go too wrong on me. I will post pics and give as much detail and info as I can and hopefully someone will follow and help me along as I go. So this is what I have: Dark angel seeds from crop king a 2'x3'x7' closet with a home made grow tent (wooden frame with panda film and Velcro door) 4 inch duct fan and drier vent for an intake and 4 inch drier vent for exhaust 300w led panel 3w leds canna coco coir for a medium canna coco A + B for base nutrients to start temp and humidity gauge inside tent I had the lights and fan running for a few days to get the temps right, with the light on 18 and 6 and the intake fan on for 30 minutes and off for 60 minutes the temp stays between 23 and 27 and the humidity stays between 45 and 60. I started to germinate some of the seeds the other day (wet paper towel cupped between two plates) they are cracked open and I can see a bit of white but the tails are not 1/4 inch yet should I plant them anyway? And I know nutrients are bad at this stage but where I am planting in coco should I wet with 1/8 or 1/4 strength since there is nothing in it for the seeds.
I'll have to watch this one. I'm almost 3 weeks ahead of you on my first grow, too. Took some time to get my temps dialed in, but a fan speed controller helps a lot. Tap water should have enough minerals in it for the seedlings' first week. Are you going to be adjusting pH?
Yes I will be adjusting the ph,I forgot to mention I had a Ph meter and Ph up and down. I germinated with ph'ed water and plan to keep between 5.8 and 6.2 the whole grow
2 days after I put the seeds in the coco the first seedling popped up. The other 2 didn't sprout for some reason. I waited 10 days still nothing so I dug them up and the shells were split but no tap root so I got rid of them I think I might have drowned them. then the next day after I took out the seed this weird thing came up and started growing real fast. how can it grow with no seed. im using coco so there shouldn't be anything in the medium that would grow. other then the weird thing how does the first seedling that popped up look?
oh and I forgot to mention that when I got my first true leaves I started to use 1/4 strength canna coco a+b nutes since theres nothing in the coco
Sounds good, little things will grow in the medium from where they have fell off you from being outside off your clothes, it's happened to me I pulled it and planted it to see what it was but it died haha IMHO I would pull it bc you don't want your mj having to fight for root space Why do we call it the third eye? so I got rid of that weird thing to avoid any problems. this is day 19 above the coco for my one lonely girl. I repotted to a 5 gallon pot upped the nutes to half of what canna recommends 2ml per liter and also added .25ml per liter of floralicious plus. this is what she looks like so far
Looks like a strong plant👠but I would get perlite in the soil for drainage, mj likes drainage and helps prevent root problems like rot Why do we call it the third eye? When really it could be the first

I added a few more things to my nute lineup. I have canna coco a+b and floralicious plus and rhizotonic. also for flowering I have pk 13/14 and canna boost. From the reading I have been doing the people at canna know what they are doing so I decided to do the whole line up. I decided to do a scrog since I only have one plant and heard leds don't penetrate very well. there is a pic of the screen I made below. I also made a wooden try to hold my pot up a bit so I can slide a tray in and out from under it. I am hoping that helps make the flushing not so painful.
This is day 26 above the soil. earlier this week I topped my plant so I can start training for the scrog. there has been a lot of side branching and leaves coming out everywhere since I topped. I think I might have waited a little long to water. a couple of the leaves tip curled down a bit, I watered today so I hope that's all it was. and I don't think I will go this long again without watering
