So Im trying my hand at growing and built a stealth box in my closet, I have a reggie plant on my hands, Im currently using regular potting soil with a mix of powdered(dried then blended) banana peels and egg shells to give some nutrients. I didnt want to go all out with high grade soil until i can get this down and order higher grade seeds. Here it is at 19 days from seed, it also suffered a little from heat stress as the first leaves were "tacoing" but is doing much better now. I transplanted into a 2 gallon pot 2 days ago because the roots out grew the little pot it was in originally. Im a little worried about the height as its staying very short, anything to be worried about?
Im no expert but what you added to the soil should be composted first before its added. As to the bushy there are many factors what kind of light you are using, what strain it is (seeing as how its reggies) looking into what your temps/humidity is. What the PH of the soil is etc etc etc
Looks good man. Mix some wormcastings into the top layer of soil and water it in, that will help break down the nutrients in the banana peels. Pick up 100 redworms for $20 and start a worm bin. ok good to know, right now im using 4 33w cfl on 2 y-socket adapters. The temperature is staying between 70-78 and at night i cut off the fans as this bring down the temp even more. The ph stays around 6 and the humidit as of this morning is 60%..just trying to research and learn more as i go along.

Yeah bro!! If you get a female with no hermies your bud should be better than the bud it came from. You see the bud the seed probab;ly came from was grown in a field under low light in a forest somewhere in the midwest or in mexico. The farmers there grow a shit ton and don't give a fuck about male or female so the buds are pollinated and their plants spent most of their energy producing seeds instead of THC and buds. They also don't cure and dry it proerply and brick it up in shipment which invites molds and other disgusting shit that I don't know how anyone in 2015 would smoke.
Quick update, its been 4 weeks and 1 day from seed. Growing pretty healthy but still short, might be the strain, not quite sure. Thought about ordering nutes to see if it'll help with the growth. Any feedback? View attachment 150844
