i have a nice topoo whip vaporizer, the desktop box kind. the digital readout is off by about 100-150 degrees, but thats okay. its a nice glass on glass heating element. i traded this guy a dub for it in august, but didnt really use it until later when i realized how much more efficient it is. i smoked about a gram out of it and started getting the fear, and i was like woah, i hardly smoked any. \ni was just wondering if the city has any tips for how to make it more efficient, and what temperatures to use. and also how long i should vape it for, and if smoking it or making edibles from it is even worth it. \ni usually start at about 240. as i pull in air, it heats up wayyy past 240 though. i usually go up to 330 max. i didnt realize it until recently, but i think some of the bud is burning. the vapor makes me cough really really hard when i get a big hit, and doesn't all dissipate immediately like smoke. when i look at the bud, it doesnt look very burnt though, so is combustion occuring, or is it just extremely thick vapor? \nalso, i noticed it takes me forever to get high when i use the vaporizer. should i start it at a higher temperature? how often should i mix the bowl? will starting too high ruin the taste? my friend got a baker vape, and its nice but it doesnt taste as good as mine. i am starting to think thats because ive been burning my bud a little. \nand i noticed that the tube attached to the bowl gets really hot, could this be a health hazard? i had a vape catch on fire once and i got a fat lungful of acrylic smoke. is there any benifit to getting a nicer whip? right now im just using the basic type bowl it came with, but i see some out there that are much longer and nicer looking. \njust any tips in general would be awesome, especially in efficiency. i find that i often cash vape bowls wayyyyyyyy before they're done. its a great health benifit to just vaporize, but i find that the vape doesnt get me on the level i want to be, so i supplement with bong hits. also, i burn through weed a lot faster with my vape, so i end up smoking the brown stuff anyway in the end. \nthanks guys
If that vaporizer is made in china you should do some serious research into whether it's safe to use. Cheap vaporizers can make you sick. As far as temperature I usually start no lower than 350 and work my way up to 392. Combustion occurs at 451 What did you mean by "the fear"?

I posted this up in another thread, but I might as well post it up here as well. "Having a nice Topoo" is an oxymoron. It's a Chinese made VaporBros knock-off and these kinds of cheap knock-offs have been known to have been made with toxic materials, so strictly from a health standpoint, I'd avoid it like the plague. \nSecondly, these types of knockoffs are also known for inaccurate and fluctuating temperature controllers so whatever temp you THINK you are at via the display is totally useless. And third, as long as you are sucking your vapor through a plastic/silicone whip, it virtually negates any benefit from a glass vapor path. And btw, the heating element is not glass, but rather ceramic. \nOne other other thing. The air path is sucked in from the bottom of the vape and over the internal electronics before it has a chance to come into contact with the heating element. \nThis vaporizer is about as far as you can get from an all glass air and vapor path as you could possibly get. \nI totally agree with mrmr... above. The best tip I could give you on the Topoo is to throw it in the trash. \nIf one truly wants a cheap vaporizer that DOES have an all glass air and vapor path, check out the Vapolution 2.0.
