  2. So you just dried and threw in a vacuum bag?

Could you explain your curing technique? How many days? what conditions? temps, humidity, air flow. hanger type, ect...

Man they have such a good tutorial on this site. It kills me to see people do all this hard work and neglect one of the most important aspects of the whole process.

here is another good curing tutorial  http://www.growweedeasy.com/curing
and I hope this was just a freak accident, if it was a lack of experience you are learning the hardest way!

  3. Looks to me that it wasn't dried long enough, was still pretty wet then placed in a air tight bag causing the dampness to turn to mold.. Gotta let them dry my dude.

  4. - 3 days @ 80degrees almost zero humidity.
    - Put inside plastic bag sweated for 8 hours
    - Hung to dry for one more day then jarred.

Except for colas - put in vacuum seal bag, now has mold.

Not all of colas had mold though but have been exposed!

    - Burp jars for 10-15 minutes, 3 times a day for past 3 days.

About 2oz been exposed to mold. It's medical, so that in itself answers my question... The purity has been compromised. Would rather toss it than take a risk. Smh!

  5. Yeah buddy reread a drying and curing tutorial. The method you are using is what caused the mold.

  6. Stuff in the jars is fine. Pretty sure it was the plastic bag.

  7. The plastic...how exactly did plastic cause it to mold? You didn't dry it enough before vac sealing it. Has nothing to do with plastic.

  8. Hey Canadian - If a cat barked and a dog meowed would the cat still be a cat and the dog still be a dog!?

Two processes were utilized, jarring and vacuum seal. obviously the vacuum seal failed due to residual moisture where as the jarring method has had no ill effects.

All plant matter was dried for the same amount of time before being jarred/sealed. It was lack of consideration that the vacuum seal plant matter needed to be burped like the jarred plant matter.

    -Live and learn-

  9. I'm confused...are you agreeing with me or not?

  10. Like I previously stated your drying tech leaves alot that can be improved upon. But canadian is correct it wasnt properly dried you put in sealed bag you got mold. Its the wetness causing mold.
