Hey guys Happy New Years! This is my first grow ever which I decided to do DWC. I don't know jack about growing other than what I've been reading from forums and random grow journal browsing. I am having some issues with my lower leafs not growing, turning yellow and dying. Some are just not growing at all I am a bit upset because my Blue treacle Auto started to pre flower already? I believe. I am new grower still learning! Info and help are greatly appreciated! Info: Started 11/28/14 (Counting from sprout opening) Strains = Blue Treacle Auto (Blue Treacle from Gorilla Seed Bank) & Sour Diesel (Sour Diesel from Bag seed) Water = Tap water PH level is 7.0 straight out the faucet Water change = Every 7 days Nutes = General Hydroponics FloraSeries Feeding schedule = Every water change (Every 7 days) (FloraMicro @ 2ml*1Gallon = 10ml total) (FloraGro @ 1ml*1Gallon = 5ml total) (FloraBloom @ 1ml*1Gallon = 5ml total) Blue Treacle Feeding = Everything above but cut in half PH after nutes = Balanced with PH down and up to 5.8 - 6.0 Humidity level = 35% - 50% Temperature = 70F Light system = 36x High Powered 3w LED chipset (I built it from scratch) Light Schedule = 16 On/8 Off Grow tent = Made with Panda film and PVC pipe 2'x 2'x 4'

Thanks dude, I will be experimenting with the Sour Diesel by doing some defoliation - maybe it might help with my lower yellow dying leaves.
Subbed, I can help you out if you run into trouble but you are doing good. lower leaves dont get much light so yanking them off is perfectly fine. I wish you the best of luck, DWC fucking rocks.
Im not a, dwc person but looking good and snoop Is, deff the man and older leaves are nothing to worry about its new growth as long as its green and reaching for the light your go od
They do look nice. I'm a first time grower going the dwc route. This is a good site to learn from. A lot of good people that Will help you, and just as many that will try to make you feel you like an idiot for being new, or asking a question that can be easily searched out. Those lower leaves look like they are suffering from a lack of light. If you can't add more light then don't worry. The top looks good
He's right. My last couple hydro crops I did not trim out the undergrowth and that was a mistake on my part. Tons of popcorn that could have been removed to focus energy on the upper fat buds. I dont need a ton of popcorn to blast oil from. This round right before flowering Im chopping all the lower minor branches and going to turn them into clones so nothing goes to waste.
I did something like that with the Sour Diesel on a dramatic experimental scale. I don't know the sex of it which made me do something this dramatic. I'm pushing myself to the limit.
Pre flowering is when you get some single calyxes appearing while the plant is in veg. Because of that definition autos don't really pre flower, they simply start flowering. But yeah, its definitely flowering now, how long has it been since germination?
Can anyone tell me what issue I am experiencing here? I'm leaning towards wind burn but my fans are on super low now. (Leaves wrinkling up and tearing - No pest issue)
I have had leaf damage like that in the past but have never figured out the cause. It always passes without my intervention
Everything seems to be great other then that. Fan leaves are growing back on the Sour Diesel (Right plant). The attempt at creating clones is brutal. Blue Treacle Auto is doing great. Here's a picture of today.
