I'd say 5.8 on the Ph is a good target, and here are Pit Vipers PPM recommendations which look strong to me but here they are: HYDRO ONLY Several people have asked us what levels of nutes we use. This is the schedule we have used all the time. They won't hurt you Vegetative 1st week 600ppm 2nd week 900ppm 3rd week 1200ppm 4th week 1500ppm if you veg more than 4 weeks... 5th week 1800 ppm...stay there till bloom put it into 30 hrs dark flushing with plain water..sometimes I flush 1 more day when the lights come back on Bloom 1st week 600 ppm 2nd week 900 ppm 3rd week 1200 ppm 4th week 1500 ppm 5th week 1800 ppm 6th week 2000 ppm 7th week 2000 ppm 8th week 2000 ppm if you are adding bloom enhancers add them in last 2 weeks but reduce you ppm to 1200 1st/ Shooting powder and bud booster takes place of the last 2 weeks of bloom
In my experience it depends on the strain. Right now I'm running Blue Dream and it's a nute hog. I'm at 1400 now and they're loving it. Those number I put up there are from someone else. Pit Viper who I don't know but I copied his nute schedule.
I would say use the posted information as a guide, and experiment a little. If you are checking on your plant everyday, you can adjust as you go along
Without the meters conversion factor it can only be a guide. 2000ppm is EC2.8 @ 0.5 or EC4.0 @ 0.7 EC1.6-1.8 is a safe maximum.
