How much vaped weed do I need for edibles?

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by grenks112, Dec 30, 2014.

  1. I have 7 grams of vaped bud from an arizer solo. 3 of us want to do edibles for the first time. We have 5 grams of normal bud we could cook with too. Would it be worth it or do I need to save up more?

  2. For 3 people we will say you have about 10.5 gram to split three ways for each edible serving. Make it into oil and make 3 cookies. Depending on tolerance i would guess that would be good.

  3. I agree with 123, make oil and three cookies with the oil.  Don't make them too weak.  I would think you'll get off nicely.  Will you have anything left to smoke while your edibles are working?

  4. If you are using just Vaped bud, My general rule of thumb is one OZ for a batch of brownies. With the normal bud if you decarb and extract into oil/butter properly it would probably be ok, not super strong though.

How can strangers on the internet tell you what your tolerance is?

A good rule of thumb for your first edible experience: use the same amount of herb you would smoke/vape in 1 session.

I usually vape about 0.25g in a session, so that's a typical amount I use per brownie (which I calculate by putting 4g into a tray of 16 brownies).

If you and your buddies can easily smoke/vape 7g in an evening, then by all means, that is probably a good dosage for your first edibles experience.
