So there's been some debates about weed lately to put it lightly. Millenials want weed legalized. Minorities are outraged that after a hundred years of drug persecution, it's the white businessmen who are capitalizing on weed legalization. The prison lobbyists rally every time legalization is mentioned in state because human trafficking is their business and legilization fucks that up (ironic the mexican drug cartels and prison guard lobby see eye to eye on this issue). Venture capitalists are foaming at the mouths at the potential of an unregulated, untapped, and disorganized market coming to fruition in the next twenty years. And least of all, all those hippie hating, misinformed, redneck, baby boomers who were so vehemetly anti-pot during the Reagan years are now all dying of cancer and begging for relief from their victimized generations.

Well fuck me sideways we are in interesting times. You can walk into a store in Denver and buy pot with a credit card, but if you bring said weed a few miles across state lines to Kansas, Whooooa! Straight to Levenworth nigger! So I'm interested in everyones opinons about this. If Walmart starts selling blunts what happens to the basement horticultralist who relies on that money for rent? If weed is legalized what happens to the guy doing fifteen for possesion with intent? If you're a drug war vet and you've got multiple felony drug convictions and are pushed out of the market by suit wearing mercenaries, how will you make ends meet? Will market prices create an elite "medical" grade weed class in the suburbs and an illegal low grade mexican "reggie" black market in the ghettos?

I'm interested in different view points on this from different subcultures as we've all had different experiences in this war on drugs. Oh, and lastly I think I speak for everyone here when i say, FUCK COPS. Now let's have a civil discussion on marijuana legalization.
