So I am a little worried... I have been offered a job and was told to go take a drug test. No problem there, I've used Monkey Whizz synthetic urine many times and have always passed. So I went to the store, bought some, broke the seal, and heated up like I normally do and drive to the drug test place only to find they are closed because of the holiday and wont reopen til Monday! Monkey Whizz directions specifically state in bold to not break the seal until the day of the test, which has me worried because now I have to wait a whole weekend. Will my sample be ruined if I freeze it or store it in the fridge? I tried calling Monkey Whizz and it looks like there office is closed for the holiday too.. HELP! Im freaking out and poor so I cannot afford to splurge on another batch of synthetic urine!?
Jesus, Monkey whizz still works in 2014? What kind of test are you taking, DOT, ect? Real urine is good for three days at room temperature before bacterial growth goes all apeshit, one week refridgerated, one year frozen. I can't imagine synthetics are anymore sensitive. My quickfix box (which I'll never use) says its good for seven days before becoming invalid, and thats only after the uric acid tube being added to the sythetic urine.
My advice is seek a job that doesn't require drug testing if you can't quit to pass a piss test. If your so poor you can't buy fake pee you probably shouldn't be buying and smoking weedz. Sorry for the tough love
Just wanted to let everyone know I passed the test with Quest Diagnostics and got the job. For all the ignorant people who say, "dont smoke" or "seek other employment that doesn't test" should really consider peoples personal situations before saying crap like that. If you want to know, I had to quit my previous job because I was being sexually harassed by my employer. Its obviously hard to get a job out there during Christmas holidays and was applying for anything, but many companies do not want to hire someone who is white, educated, with 10+ years of experience, when they know you will just leave for the next best thing. I am educated with a bachelors degree, and i do not smoke all day long like many potheads. I smoke every night to help with sleep or just in social situations. As for the comments about me being poor and still smoking, do you really think I kept buying green when I had no income coming in? I hope you find yourselves suddenly without a job with weed in your system. Word of advice, when someone is seeking advice on a forum that caters to pot smokers, don't be a douche. Thank you to the people who actually gave worthy advice, it really helped calm my nerves!
I'm in a similar position. I was called and notified of a job opurtinity out of the blue. I stopped smoking and its been like 3 days now I have to take the piss test next Thursday. I've been drinking a lot of water and just trying my best to not smoke which I haven't. I have a ton of stuff going on in my life right now that's really stressing me out and making my depression way worse. Its hard being broke and having to take a piss test on such short notice. I mean honestly if I don't get this job I'm fucked in more way then one. I'm terrified.....
If I suddenly lost my job I could live frugally for 5 years. Why don't you have any savings? Maybe you should take a hard look at your spending habits. All I'm saying is if someone if focused on getting a job, they should do WHATEVER it takes to get the job, which means not smoking or having a better plan than only having money to buy one batch of fake pee. You came here asking for advice and I gave it. Sorry if it made you cry. Just because this is a weed forum doesn't mean everything is puppys and rainbows.
