Hi, I was wondering if anyone has used this grow box. I am a beginner, and I'm looking to grow only a couple of plants every few months for personal use. I definitely can't be caught, so I thought this was a very stealthy way to grow. This review, and the reviews on the website make it seem like a worthwhile investment. I know a bunch of people are going to say I can build one for cheaper, but I would just like to hear the opinions anyone has on this box. Thanks!
Only about $100 worth of parts and no carbon filter , so even if you do manage to get to flower stage its still gonna smell really bad, and its to small of a space
Yeah I have looked around some more and found some cheaper boxes. This one looks pretty good. It has a carbon filter, LST shelves, and it's pretty tall. It would allow way more growth than the other one, but I'm not sure if the light and stuff is good. Could you help out?
That dealzer pc grow box is garbage. The huge CFL is a bad idea because it takes up so much space in there, and the pc box is too small, doesnt come with any type of training shelf, and no carbon filter. The pc grow box found at http://pcgrowcase.com/hydroponic-grow-boxes/10-pc-grow-box-hydro.html is overall much better because its much taller at 26.5", has a carbon filter installed, 4 fans, LST shelf, and supplemental LED light. Thanks for the info. The LST shelf doesn't come with it right? You have to pay an extra $20? I might just get this box. It's pretty cheap and seems like a decent deal, but the lights in the other one are better and there is one more light in the one on pcgrowcase.com
My friend bought the pc grow box from http://www.pcgrowcase.com and he told them he wanted the LST shelf and LED light for free, and they gave it to him...im sure you can get the same too, just email them. You deffinitely need more than just 3 CFLs to flower your plants out which is why having 4 cfls and an extra LED light for the undergrowth is a must.
To small wasting your money amazon has inexpensive tents I'm an LED guy they seem to work better with autos I have had great success with Candy Kush or Vast & fast done right will produce close to a pound Sent from my SM-P600 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Just buy a £50 tent mate, that way you can have whatever size you want. Big enough to put a decent fan and light. Growing in those tiny boxes is no easy task and if you are new to growing then you want the simplest, easiest methods. If you really want a tiny area you can buy a 1'x1'x4' tent or a 2'x2'x5' for about £40. I wouldn't worry about stealth as such. Just keep it in your bedroom, or maybe a closet where visitors aren't going to stumble across it. With a proper tent you can fit a proper fan and filter so you won't have to worry about the smell. Something that would be an issue with those little boxes
