So I read a ton of bad reviews about the "vape" on this Atmos jr. I took the freshly grounded bud and put it right on the coil. Burned it all the way and got a good buzz from it, just curious what all the hate is on it? Sure not a "great" vape pen, but awesome at combustion. I'm picking up some wax tonight, which from what I read does well in this pen. Just curious if anyone else uses this pen as a combustion / wax pen. Rather than just vape pen.
You just answered your own question. Calling the Atmos Jr. a vape pen is an oxymoron. And THAT is where the hate is. You can't call something a vaporizer if it doesn't vaporize.
I have tried a few and found if you stick with atmos the Atmos Jewel would be the best choice. It's an upgrade to the JR. It has a fatter chamber, heats up more, and over all works better with wax then the old JR(I have tried both) Anyway here is a quick video of how the chamber looks/works/heats up. I ended up picking up some wax, this atmos Jr works great! Solid hits every time, easy to load.... I'm thinking about picking up the jewel just for non stealthy smoking...
