  1. Hey guys. I've been using weed recreationally for about 5 years. I have never had any problems with it. Actually, it usually cures most of my ailments. Recently I was diagnosed with having a peptic ulcer (super painful) and they  prescribed me Zofran for nausea. My nausea was so severe that even weed couldn't help. :( However, ever since I've started taking Zofran I can not toke whatsoever. I usually use concentrates daily, but I tried hitting a dab and it caused the craziest panic attack of my life. My eyes were beyond dilated, I was having hot flashes, tremors, mild mania, and I thought I was about to start hallucinating. I literally felt like I left reality. My nausea became way worse, I started vomiting, and I was having tachycardia of about 160 bpm. It was all I could do to just lay on the floor until the high wore off. I thought it was a one time thing and that possibly the concentrates were too much for me right now... So, about 3-4 days later I tried again with just herb. The same thing happened again. I honestly thought I was going to die. My husband was sitting on the floor with me ready to call 911.

I've read about Serotonin Syndrome, and apparently if you take Zofran you are more likely to experience it. Is it possible I had a bad interaction with marijuana and it might have caused a mild case of SS? Thanks for the input.

  2. Marijuana has absolutely nothing to do with serotonin syndrome, so throw that right out the window.

It could be the smoke irritating your throat and nausea, try a light edible and see if that works.
You could also try vaping, but that might irritate your throat as well, wouldn't be as much, but it still could.

  3. You are breaking forum rules. you can not speak of anything thats not caffeine, alcohol or cannabis.

But besides that how much did you smoke when you had these reactions

  4.
    This...

If you're having a medical problem, I'd suggest you consult a doctor, not a bunch of random people on a MJ forum...
