    I know this is the wrong forum but it wasn't letting me post in edibles but anyways I made my first cannabutter yesterday , and this is how I made it I put water on stove pof , 1 and 1/2 stick of butter for a quarter of weed ,, and little it simmer on low for 3 and 1/2 hours and this is how it came out and I want to know if it looks good or if it doesn't look good at all ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1419247755.473518.jpg

    i don't think boiling water decarbs weed. and it's probably so solid because thats just all butter. Fuck no i wont eat that

    Butter is delicious... I use it on bread, corn on the cob, lobster, etc.
     
    GO FOR IT!!!
     
    1/4oz is a good amount for a batch of brownies or cookies, in my experience. You probably should have decarbed but there's no sense worrying about that now. ;)

    I'm going to make brownies for Christmas that's my plan you think holding it for 2 more days should be fine ?

    for sure, Ive crumbled left overs onto ice cream up to 2 weeks after I made them. 
     
    decarbing will give you a stronger final product, it ensures you are getting all of the psychedelic effects that the weed can give.

    Your butter looks great.  No green in there. :hello:
     
    I've never decarbed before but make killer butter.  Only one way to find out how strong it is and that is to make some brownies and eat em.  Start your dose off small and work your way up.
