why does my room still smell?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by jonny6k, Dec 22, 2014.

  1. i live with my parents who arent exactly cool with me smoking, so im usually pretty careful when i toke. keep all my paraphernalia in smell proof bags etc. when i smoke, i leave the window cracked, take a one hit and blow all smoke out of the cracked window making sure the weed isint cherried. window is usually kept wide open for a couple hours after toking. my question is, why does my room still smell of weed a day after smoking, i made sure no smell would escape but i guess not... any ideas on how to air it out are appreciated

  2. Go smoke outside...

  3. Your room smells cuz you smoked weed in it, dingus.

Make yourself a sploof (paper towel tube stuffed with dryer sheets) and/or accept the stank.

  4. Pro-tip: Opening a window completely allows the smoke you're blowing out to blow right back in. Opening the window to a crack, creates a vacuum effect almost and will draw the smoke out.
Leaving it wide open after you've smoked is fine of course. Make a sploof though. Stick the tube into your cracked window and blow out. Just make sure you change the dryer sheets regularly or they start to lose their smell and don't really cover the scent of weed anymore

  5. Get 2 or 3 pet goats to live in your room to cover the weed smell.

  6. If you're going to open a window, make sure you're either blowing the smoke OUT there against the wind, or put your head out the window. You can also take a 2 liter bottle, poke some small holes in the bottom, fill it up with ripped up dryer sheets (like this better than the paper towel tube as the plastic doesn't get soggy with your mouth on it). Then, exhale into the bottle, cover the top with your hand, and shake it around. Pretty effective, I know people who smoke in rooms without windows doing it and it doesn't smell at all (though not the smartest idea if you're trying to be 100% clean-smelling).

It might not necessarily be the fact that you smoked in your room which is causing it to smell, but even if your pipes and weed are in smell proof bags they will smell overtime so that could be what you are smelling.

  8. Yep, a little bit of dank can make a whole room smell more than some smoke can

  9.
Personally I cover my paper towel tube sploofs with duct tape and don't slobber on them.

  10. cause weed is pungent brotha
