Outside Plant, Not Budding enough

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by BlackGuyShoes, Dec 22, 2014.

  1. I have this small weed plant with bud just around it not sticking out or anything. It's been growing since IDk when but seems like forever, but it was either august or september or octobor. I accidently left it ouside in the cold and I think that's what has caused it to look Darker leafs, and the bud has a purple tint to it, it smells potent too.

If I took a picture, it really wouldn't look like anything and I've tried. I just need to know how long can I let my weed plant keep growing andh ow can i make it grow more. I don't know my lighting / dark hours or watering or anything, I set it in random places outside and water it randomly with random amounts depending on everything. So there is really nothing technical about the plant besides it's soil is suppose to be good, it's like woodchippy soil stuff, it grew a few other weed plants I had good but they died when I put nitrogen on them and that was earlier this summer.

I've tried everything to make the plant grow good, If i smoked the bud on it now it wouldnt be enough to get me high.

  2. Ok you planted waaaaay too late in the outdoor season and thats why you have this problem. I suggest next time you plant in the spring.

Anyway, if you live In Southern California, we can get overnight freezing temps in winter and wake up with frost on all the plants. The frost literally reeks havoc on lawns so I could imagine what cold temps are doing to your poor plant.

  3.
So should I smoke it or try letting it grow inside.

  4. pics please?

  5. Smoke it.

Its too late, smoke it. Once it begins flower it basically has a certain amount of time left and that's it. You shouldn't transplant in flower. I don't grow outside but you have to start in the spring as soon as weather permits. Some even begin their plants inside in the winter to give them a head start. Go to the outdoor growers section. They'll have the info you need for that.

  7. Okay I got it on the strainer drying. It's a good bit of bud once i trimmed it down, It's more than i thought. It has crystals but it's like super purple from all the cold. Guess it could pass off as purple haze or something down here.

  8. Do you have a quote of yourself in your signature?

    Opie, you so clever.

  9. When its dries it will shrink up considerably. Slow dry for atleast 4 days, longer if possible is preferable and read up on drying and curing in the stickies, but it may not be enough to worry about. Maybe just dry and smoke. Got any pics? We're all whores for bud porn even midgets....lol

Ummm no. you can harvest and reveg your plants and start over with the same plant. when you harvest, leaves a small portion of uncut branches.......ah fuck typing it out. here:

lol. I have 6 outdoor plants that are wee little flowering babies that i will be revegging and growing indoors next month. a couple smell extremely dank(to my surprise-bagseeds) so they will get a new chance at life in much much better living conditions after i harvest the current ladies.

  11. he has a tiny plant that pretty much finished, after being planted late in the season, sounds like to me he's beyond revegging. Ive seen it done and have read up on it. Best to do with a healthy plant in early veg, takes time, why waste it on a tiny plant thats beyond revegging, just smoke it.

I cant speak for him, but for me, when you have a bag full of seeds, ranging from Mexican brick weed, to long lost acapulco gold(Ahh the wild claims of old dudes who used to grow and give you beans!) seeds, and everything inbetween, but your indoor grow space is full and you are impatient. you plant them outside, and let em do their thing. i have a huge stone pot outside that i do ten in at once. this time i pulled a super ratio of 3:7 males:females. 7 Ladies! 3 of those ladies are super dank for being midgets, so when i harvest my room, i will reveg those ladies and grow them into what they were always meant to be. but if i had thrown out thse seedlings that flowered as midgets just because, then i MAY be throwing away mystical genetics! but probably not.  :smoking:

I grow both indoor and outdoor, but live in a climate where that acceptable year round

So let me try and understand what you guys are saying. Its worth revegging a plant in its last days. Goes against anything I've read. But like I've said I've only watched it be done in early veg and read about it being done in early veg. And when I said its done that's my opinion, too me its done, I'm not wasting time on a plant like that, my choice. Even if it can reveg the last day of flower I'm pulling it and smoking it, my opinion, nothings wrong about it

  16. I don't even know why were talking about reveg. That's not what he wanted to do, he was just digging it up to finish growing. I doubt since he wasn't sure when to plant that reveg was on his mind, let him smoke it

  17. Here here! cheers on that Mate!

We were talking about it because im am stubborn and he said "you CANT do it" and that was incorrect. it can be done just takes a little effort!

  18. I never said he can't do it.....I said smoke it, when I made the comment about there only being a certain amount of time to flower its was because the plant is at the end of its life there's no more time to flower. And every thing there is to read say its too late then. The guys I know who reveg don't do it that late. If you have a link to instructions on how to revenge a finished plant, I would love to read about it. Either way I'm still suggesting smoke it, why give a newer grower more problems just enjoy what you have and grow more. I got my system down fairly tight so hopefully I'll never have to reveg, but if I have to I'm going to do it when its optimal, not spend forever trying to reveg a loosing prospect......but that's just my opinion
