my 3x3 garden

Discussion in 'Organic Grow Journals' started by O'Shaughnessy, Dec 22, 2014.

  1. New here, and I've read for almost two years here at GCO. This journal is more for asking help than giving advice from me, but if I can help I will for sure. TIA to all you veterans who have helped the organic community here at GC.

I'll be applying the practice of no til gardening on my 10 gallon smart pot, Oregon breather brand. Soil cooked for about a month and then sowed the cover crop blend from build a soil.

Another month passed by, and I think it's more than ready for production. Currently I have a WW x BB from female seeds sitting on clean water with ful-power. Also got some kelp in 2 cups of water to hydrate the peat and rice hulls later.

Gonna do a starter mix consisting of CSPmoss, rice hulls, and worm power VC tomorrow.

    For the record...

    -3x3x5 tent
-mars 700w (going to buy it
    tomorrow)
-6in hyper fan 300 or so cfm
    -scrog

    Soil mix

    CSPM
    Malibu comp/worm gold(sucks)
    Pumice

CC's nutrient and mineral mix from BAS.

I also got other goodies, i.e. 200x aloe, ahimsa neem oil, 16h you know the essentials lol.

Thanks and I'll be back bothering you guys and gals for advice.

    Happy holidays!

    Hi GCO,

Getting in the mid 60F at night so I got a super sprouter® brand heat mat and controller for when I sow the seedling.

Anyone has experience using this to start off seeds?

    Some pics, on order

Ok so I just sowed the WW x BB cultivar??? Hopefully I'm using the term right lol.

Did a mix of 65% Canadian peat butt hairs lol, 15% rice hulls and 25% VC and hydrated it with some kelp tea.

I still got like a cup and a half of kelp tea strained. How long can this sit and be good use? Thanks.

  5. This fellow noob will be watching with interest. And my grow will start in about a week, maybe we can learn from each other.
