I bought the Cash Crop 4.0 (3 Ft. Version) from Dealzer. It's a bit pricey, but its an all in one box that seems pretty ok. Just know they're customer service is horrible.

The reservoir holds up to 6 plants so I planted 6 seeds from Herbies:
    - (1) Incredible Bulk Feminised
    - (1) White Widow x Big Bud Feminsed
    - (4) White Widdow Feminised

Because there all girls and bad bitches  I named them after 6 girls from the bad girls club:

    Back Left: Nataly
    Back Middle: Royce
    Back Right: Valentina

    Front Left: Rocky
    Front Middle: Redd
    Front Right: Jada

    I started December 1st.

    Attached Files:

  2. December 4th: After 3 Days All seeds ended up germinating successfully. With Jada being the fastest.. I'm not sure if its because of Valentina being closest to the air stone or what..

    Attached Files:

  3. December 8th: Jada and Valentina seem to be growing faster than the rest.

    Attached Files:

  4. December 11th: I left them alone for a few days and came back to see this! Valentina and Jada were leading the pack as usual but Nataly started growing pretty rapidly as well. I assumed the others were just taking their time and i was going out of town for a few days so i figured everything would be OK..however that wasn't the case.

    Attached Files:

  5. When I returned back from out of town... I was surprised that Redd Sprouted up and started catching up behind the other girls. Rocky started showing her head as well.

However, Nataly looked as if she was dying and Royce never sprouted after she Germinated. I had no idea what was wrong, but after I checked the water level I saw it was ridiculously low! Both Royce's and Nataly's start plugs were crazy dry.

    Attached Files:

  6. December 16th: I immediately after water and nutrients In hopes that they would recover. After a couple of days, I saw improvement in Nataly, she seemed to be getting her shit together and picking her self up off the ground. Rocky improved a bit, but I was certain Royce was dead at this point so I flushed her.

    Attached Files:

  7. Lessons Learned: The girls are greedy AF! So I keep a galloon of water/nutrient mix close. I check on them twice a day before and after work and replenish the water a little by little.

In addition: I added the CO2 Enhancer since I now have leaves.. The shit works..

  8. Sometime last week:

Though Nataly made somewhat improvement, after about 5days she showed no signs of improvement so I had to flush her.

Rocky showed no signs of improvement either so she was flushed as well.

Now the house is down to 3: Jada, Valentina and Redd

    December 21st:

Last last week I starting Googling LST and Topping techniques and found a simple video of how to top. A lot of these forums and articles make it so complicated, but i found a YouTube Video that straight to the point!

I ended up topping on her 3rd leaf set. Her growth stunted for like 2 days (which is expected). I learned that the had to adjust. But now I see that it was successful.

December 21st: Jada's new growth after topping her

  11. The kit came with 3 CFL's 6500K. What should be done to mitigate the stretching?

Can you lower the lights? CFLs should be right next to the top of the plant since they are relatively weak lights to begin with, but the further away from the plant, they're even weaker.

Since they don't produce much heat, you should have them only a few inches above your plants at the most to get the maximum lumens.

I brought them down to about 4-5 inches above the plants. I checked out your tent, nice! I'm actually thinking about going to Home Depot to make a bigger box for bigger plants... But looking at your tent I wanted to know, was it easy to make?

I accidentally knocked off some new growth when lowering the lights so i hope it doesn't have a great damaging effect on them.

Yeah I bought the tent lol

4x4 secret jardin tent was $220 off ebay

XXXL air cooled hood $220 off amazon

    Hortilux bulb $60 off ebay

    iPower ballast about $100

Fan and carbon filter about $200 since I got a good filter

Smart pots aint that much off ebay..think I paid $30 for 10-5 gallon ones and I got some 7 gallon ones too

Then the seeds I've ordered but I don't really count that as cost towards the setup.

  15.

Thanks I think i will incorporate the some of the things you bought into my custom set up.. I'm thinking of creating a dual chamber box... Two 4x4x4 boxes stacked on one another for vegging and flowering independently....

Your alright with me, minus the Alabama thing... I'm an FSU Alum.. Go Noles! If we don't see you in Dallas, were suppose to be meeting for a 2016 season opener.

December 23: So far so good...Jada is of course the biggest of the bunch... Redd is starting to get some spots on her leaves.. However she seems to be progressing.. Valentina in the back is... I'm going to move them around a bit to give them space

  18. Just a quick observation..it would be wise to space the plants out instead of having 3 on one side like that

    They look good though

  19. I wanted to do that but the first two have roots that are tangled a bit.. Do you think it would be wise to try to separate them?
