so i wanna go to some metal shows coming up, and its more fun with friends, only problem is that no one in this area likes metal music. They are all into shitty dubstep and rap and reggae music. and the kids who like any type of 'rock' are in the sad screamy hardcore(?) even my best friends dont like the same music as me. I really dont want to go to these concerts alone, what should i do?
Just go man. Thats what I do when I have no one to go with. You only live once so you may as well make sure you don't have a bucket list of concerts you hope to see. I only have 3 left but those bands are running out of time for me (never know when you will wake up dead).
go alone! we take a shit alone dont we? so why not go to a concert alone??? you will find people. you will talk to people. you have a common ground with everyone there. you will have a good time. you might meet a girl.
Have you guys seen the episode of American Dad when Klaus tries to get the family to go to a concert with him? The family ends up going without him after Klaus passes out. Poor klaus
What concert is Klaus trying to go to? I know you just said you don't want to go alone, but...like the others said, you really should. If it's music you like, you'll certainly have fun without them, especially a metal show. Like bluntman said, you have common ground with everybody there, so you might make new friends anyhow, even just for the night. And it's easier to get to the front when you're going solo Don't let having nobody to go with you hold you back from shit you enjoy!
alright guys im gunna go by myself!! edit: now the question is, should i bring i few joints or enough weed to pack my chillum like 3 times? its in indoor show, medium sized venue, and its in Portland Maine, the only city in Maine where recreational mj is currently legal.
I wanna hear how your experience went ... I usually have no one to go with me either which is one reason why I don't go to concerts often. I know I'd feel weird and awkward but hey I think everyone there is for the same damn reason and it's to have fun and see their artist perform and interact. Kinda inspired me here to go myself once and for all, and I will too !

I feel compelled to say yes Is it a larger chillum or a dugout/one hitter? If it's a dugout, I'd definitely say take that. Otherwise, go for joints. I'm more of a glass guy, but joints are the optimum smoking method for portability. Plus you can always pass some around if you want! Or be a greedy bastard. I smoked four or five hits out of a dugout at one show, and even though we were packed like sardines, the people next to me were still trying to figure out who had weed
