Ok, so first off i just wanted to say that this my first grow ever, not just hydroponically but in general. I know someone is going to ask why im doing my first grow hydroponically, and the answer to this is because i have a very limited space and i need to grow indoors, so i figured i would go ahead and bite the bullet and learn. So i just planted some ak-47 seeds in some rockwool cubes, i pre soaked them in some solution for the seedling. I have a water pump pumping water over the top of the cube constantly at the moment, but im worried that they are receiving to much water and will die. I have read mixed things about this, some say that i should only have the water on a certain amount of time and some have said always. Again these were just planted today, any tips or information is appreciated
I'm interested to see where you read that you should have water constantly running over a rockwool cube with a seed in it. A lightly dampened rockwool cube will give the seed more oxygen and will be less likely to rot But I very much dislike rockwool anyway. I find it very hard to keep the moisture content correct all of the time. I prefer lightly dampened paper towels in a zip lock bag
