A question about some seeds i just planted :D

  1. Ok, so first off i just wanted to say that this my first grow ever, not just hydroponically but in general.  I know someone is going to ask why im doing my first grow hydroponically, and the answer to this is because i have a very limited space and i need to grow indoors, so i figured i would go ahead and bite the bullet and learn.

So i just planted some ak-47 seeds in some rockwool cubes, i pre soaked them in some solution for the seedling.  I have a water pump pumping water over the top of the cube constantly at the moment, but im worried that they are receiving to much water and will die.  I have read mixed things about this, some say that i should only have the water on a certain amount of time and some have said always.

Again these were just planted today, any tips or information is appreciated :D

  2. I'm interested to see where you read that you should have water constantly running over a rockwool cube with a seed in it. A lightly dampened rockwool cube will give the seed more oxygen and will be less likely to rot

But I very much dislike rockwool anyway. I find it very hard to keep the moisture content correct all of the time. I prefer lightly dampened paper towels in a zip lock bag

  3. I already germinated them, i just planted them with the initial root down.

  4.
I use clay balls, they allow much more oxygen in and you don't have to worry about over watering
