I will be posting updates to this journal regularly throughout the upcoming season on behalf of sir Blazay.

As mentioned in the title, this will be Blazay's first attempt at cultivation. Blazay has no previous experience, but has done extensive research on the topic. He is ready to put in the hard work and dedication required for a successful growing season. Since this is his first time, I know he will make mistakes. All I ask for is the friendly support of the community to help Blazay through his operation. High hopes yield high results... hopefully.
Due to current living situations, Blazay has decided to guerilla grow. Though rather difficult to do in such a densely populated area, he will try to find the best sites possible within the next month to start prepping the soil for beautiful grow sites.

He has decided he will order 10 Master Kush feminized seeds + 10 free seeds within the next few weeks.
Once March hits he will put nonfemmed seeds in banana peels for shits & giggles and will use Clodhopper's sponge and aquarium heater method for germination. 5 seeds per week. Start them in solo cups indoors, move to 3 gallon biodegradable pots at the various grow sites , then once they reach about a foot or so upgrade them to 25 gallon biodegradable pots. Not sure what mixes to use. Seems like the possibilities are endless. ProMix seems to be favorite around the community mixed with worm castings, peat moss, blood meal, and bone meal, but how much of each should he use? Seems rather expensive for 20 25 gallon pots, suggesting that they are all male and survive haha. How much in cost of materials do you guys think a single plant would need for a 25 gallon biodegradable pot?

  2. I see you are going to try the banana trick for a higher ratio of females and I applaud you for it.  However you don't want to put the seeds "in the peels" as this will get them wet and probably non-viable.  You want to expose the seeds to the ethylene gas given off by a ripening banana, as illustrated here in this picture.  Put the seeds in a gallon size plastic bag with the banana on one side seeds on the other and put the seeds in a small paper bag or wrap them in a paper towel to keep them dry.  Air out the bag every other day and change out the banana every few days or at least once per week.  Do this for 2-3 weeks before germination.  Here's an illustration.  Good luck it's a long way till March bro.
