Led Zeppelins distinctness.

  1. This is my 2nd time writing this because I accidentally closed the app.

Anyways, I was watching a movie on netflix and I head a song by Zeppelin in the movie, and I instantly recognized a song that I haven't heard in probably 6 years.
It's weird because when I hear songs in movies that I recognize I usually google a few lyrics and remember the song name when I play it.
But with Zeppelin, it was instant.

Anyways, what in saying is that Zeppelin just has a massive distinctness in terms of sound from other bands from that era.
I'm baked as fuk so idk if any of this makes sense

  2. Maybe it's John bonhams intense drumming with jimmy page's guitar style and of COURSE you have robert plant's INSANE vocals man. They had a revolutionizing sound and they were one of the first few bands I fell in love with

It's sad about the copyright lawsuit and all though with stairway

  3. Easily the most memorable band of all time.

I'd say it's Robert Plants unique vocals that stand out the most.

  4. Indeed it does make sense. Most bands at the time were all peaceful and somewhat acoustic and mellow. Zeppelin was the first metal band. High, screeching vocals, loud screaming guitar, some songs played fast. Its safe to say if it wasent for the Zep, the metal and hair bands of the late 70s and 80s wouldn't exist.
