That looks cool and all, but other than looking cool i dont see any benefits to this over a two hole downstem... especially because of the amount of empty space needed to make it spin. Maybe spreading big bubbles over a large surface area? I don't know what kind of science is behind that though...

But maybe something awesome will come from this... a worked tube with a plane inside would be friggin sick with this perc as the prop.

  6. I'd imagine you'll have to clean it a lot. Or it will get gunked up and stop spinning. Seems fragile too, Moving parts. Cool for novelty like a propeller hat haha.

  7. Nice fullmelt.

  8. Yeah I'm not really digging it. I think its a sweet idea and all but I think it would be need to be cleaned often and the fact that it doesn't spin from the first pull kinda kills it. Seems like you really gotta rip it to get it spinning so then it just turns into a simple diffusion. Cool idea but needs some tweaks.

  9. Cool new idea, but not for me. Seems too novel and im all about practicality.

I do want to know what the weight on each of those dabs though.

  10. AWESOME!!!

It's functional art people, he probably didn't make it thinking it will be more effective, it's just really badass

  11. This piece is so cool :) I'm loving it.

Also, gotta say SW - I envy your woodworking abilities.

  12.
Think of the water resistence. it's got to get the water spinning too.

  13. been seeing these posted for a while now, seem pretty cool but you gotta be super careful with em, I would imagine the moving parts are just asking to be broken if not taken care of properly.

  14. You should un-sticky your "Dabbing Terminology". I swear thats right outta high times and they have no idea what their talkin about half the time

  15. For the most part that terminology page is a big help to noobs. It has a lot of good terminology in it and from what I read most of it seemed correct.

I for one would love for ppl to stop calling rigs "dabbers". Shit is confusing.

  16. I think some things need to be changed but it's a good start.

I didn't even see that when I first jumped in this section. I stocking it for a while then said fuck it!

I asked one if the more knowledgeable cats on here and he helped me get started.

Fell in love with dabbing right away lol

It doesnt spin until I put the carb cap on because im barely inhaling until I put the carb cap on, so I can maximize the amount of vapor I can get in my lungs and minimize the air, thats the only way I can down slabs. As soon as the carb cap is on I start inhaling harder and it spins. If you watched the whole video you would see when I take smaller dabs I actually inhale hard and the perc spins like crazy. For the average dabber this rig would always perform optimally.

As for the cleaning part, the propellers will get claimed up after like 2 days of heavy dabbing (2gs a day at least) and stop performing as well. I then just run in through some warm water for 5 mins and it gets all the claim out of the perc and is back to spinning perfectly again. I don't think running it under warm water for 5 mins is really considered cleaning anyway.

  19. First time seeing this seems pretty cool.
