How to break this percolator? (Srs)

Discussion in 'Bongs, Dab Rigs, Bubblers, Water Pipes' started by Toastman8, Dec 16, 2014.

  1. So this percolator has been broken and rattling around annoyingly. I had a different bong so I wasn't using it but now that ones broken too (go figure) and this one still has a tree perc that works. I'm looking for ideas on how to break this top shower head so I can use the bong still. I've tried just shaking it and that doesn't seem to do it. Wait, why would you want to break MORE percs? Are you trying to make your hits more harsh?

  3. No, its already broken look at the dudes pics.

And i guess it depends whats above the showerhead.. can you get a metal rod down there and chip away at it? Its already broken and stressed, i'd just leave it alone if it were mine. You could shatter the whole piece through.

  5. Guess I read it wrong, to me, it sounded like he wanted to break a working perc.

  6. Take something like a long screwdriver to use as chisel. Basically just stick the screwdriver down in there and lightly tap it with a mallet or hammer until it busts trough. The key here is to not use too much force!

Breaking things is my specialty :bongin:

  7. Need pic of the entire piece.  Maybe break the splash guard then you can get to the perc.

  8. Could you feed strong fishing wire through the hole and yank it?

  11. Forgot I posted this! I got frustrated and ended up just shaking it until it broke. Unfortunately it took two ice pinches with it so now I have two carb holes :p all of the suggestions would have been much better but at least it doesn't rattle now. Thanks everybody!!
