Hey guys, So I'm going to be purchasing some wax for the first time and I'm looking for the cheapest way to dab (safely). Don't want to hot knife and inhale chromium, so I was thinking of just buying some glass screens and putting one in my bong bowl and heating it up with a bic lighter and just dabbing that way. What would be wrong here? #2 Or potentially buying a glass rod and heating it up over the stove and dab off a paper clip (without letting the paper clip actually touch the rod). But I'm not sure how much glass rods cost. Trying to keep it around $5 #3 The most ghetto way I thought of was breaking an empty Smirnoff glass bottle that I have and heating up a piece over the stove and do it like I mentioned in the previous method. Not sure about this as I doubt the glass is made to withstand that kind of heat without releasing some form of chemicals. What do you guys think between #1,2, or 3?
Youve mentioned you own a bong and are considering buying a glass rod or other items. Might i suggest a super basic rig for around 25/30 w a glass nail or simply and adapter and nail for your bong or even just a domeless. Around me wax isnt cheap so i wouldnt want to buy any without a proper way to get my moneys worth. Listen to Dr.Fumbles

There are lots of cheap ways: Dropping dabs on cherrying bowls, affectionately called hippy dabs where i live. Its an awesome mix of bud and oil too, you get that clear dab high and the creeper bud stone too. Don't put the dab on the bowl before you smoke, or else it just melts in and makes the bowl either clog or last for ages. Get a TI nail and hotknife off that. Its hot as hell, but tasty too surprisingly. You can rig all sorts of adapters, domes, downstems and the like together to have an awesome travel piece that you can even do low temp dabs with and carb too. My travel setup cost $70 and i loved it. My male to male adaptor broke though so now its just a bunch of useless pieces until i feel like a trip to the LHS. Then theres cooking to, you get more bang for your buck usually buying oil over bud, plus you dont have to strain anything and it almost instantly absorbs into fats. And since your aiming for >$5, i'd just save the oil until i had a better budget. I really cant think of anything that cheap.
