Should I use this quartz nail or do I need a new one it kinda gives me a funny taste n I think I might be tripping but I think sometimes I see black smoke.
woahhh, that's a lot of oxidation. Oxidation is unhealthy, so I'd suggest a new nail for sure. Make sure to use butane, propane is bad for nails for that reason. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I'd say it's fine. Pretty sure oxidation is only a problem on titanium. I've used Quartz nails for way longer than what that one looks like. Hope you didn't toss it. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum

I guess it can't oxidize, lol oops shoot me down. I can tell it has seen a lot of propane. Propane burns at a much, much hotter temperature than butane, causing a lot more wear on the nail. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum

If that was a colored nail there's your problem. I've heard someone say that the fuming they use to make the color is poison to inhale
heated at high temperatures depending on the color yes. Never seen a colored glass or quartz nail however
