  1. Should I use this quartz nail or do I need a new one it kinda gives me a funny taste n I think I might be tripping but I think sometimes I see black smoke.

woahhh, that's a lot of oxidation. Oxidation is unhealthy, so I'd suggest a new nail for sure. Make sure to use butane, propane is bad for nails for that reason.

Thanks I'll chuck this 1 then

  4. I'd say it's fine. Pretty sure oxidation is only a problem on titanium. I've used Quartz nails for way longer than what that one looks like. Hope you didn't toss it.

  5. lol propane has nothing to do with nails oxidizing and also im almost 100% sure quartz cant oxidize.

  6. The hotter temperature from the butane does oxidize TI faster and are no good.

Idk about quartz. My quartz nail broke in less than 24 hours

wait you mean propane? Now im confused. Also idk but i still have my quartz that came with my Clout a while ago

  8. I guess it can't oxidize, lol oops shoot me down.
I can tell it has seen a lot of propane. Propane burns at a much, much hotter temperature than butane, causing a lot more wear on the nail.

  11. I don't like to speak for others but I'm sure he would advise against the propane since I've seen him do it before.

TI oxide is bad for you for sure

yeah no doubt but once again this thread is about a quartz nail lol. Enails the way to go anyway!

  13. If that was a colored nail there's your problem. I've heard someone say that the fuming they use to make the color is poison to inhale
