What I mean by this is basically taking nute solution and using a spray bottle to spray the plants themselves?
I do religiously. I have three bottles. One with nutes solution one with silica and one with cal mag. I use the nutes once a day. Silica about every 3 days and cal mag lightly every 2-3 days. I DO NOT recommend foliar feeding during flowering unless its lightly spraying right before lights on. A high humidity during flowering is suicide.

Give the nutes to the roots. Wetting the leaves is not a good idea unless you have no choice like when treating for pests
