    So stoked. Here's the skinny...

    Seeds:
    3 x green crack

    Grow space:
    2x2x6 DIY air tight cabinet
    Mylar lined
    2 x 6500k 125w CFL's w/hood
Lights on pulleys for easy adjustments.
    High speed computer exhaust fan
    Passive intake
Humidifier (I live in the desert, works perfect to moderate RH/cooling

Everything is connected to a Blueprint BAAC-1 atmospheric controller (Does anyone have any experience with these?), except the lights which are connected to their own digital timer.

    3gal smart pots
    Roots organic soil
    Organic Fish hydroslate (4-2-1 veg)
    Tiger bloom (weeks 1-3 flower)
    Beastie bloomz (weeks 4-7 flower)

After germ I put them on a 24/0 schedule, then switched to an 18/6 after about a month.

I'll be switching into flowering in about 3 weeks and I might top them once prior to that. I'll switch to using one of the 6500k 125w CFLs, and a 250w 2700k CFL during the 12/12.

It's my first grow so I'm always looking for constructive criticism. If you're interested or have similar gear and you're curious sub up!

  3. Yeah same here man, first grow so I'm trying to cover every angle. The farther the process moves along, the more confidence I'm having with it. At first I didn't know what the hell I was doing lol, but I'm starting to feel I have a grip on it. Only time will tell my friend. :smoke:

I'd veg for a month but my philosophy is if space allows it there's no point in growing of you don't veg at least 45 days. That extra 15 days could turn an ounce a plant into two easily. Everything looks kosher though, happy plants, clean grow room and a proper set up. The only thing I'd do is a longer veg but that's just preference. I talked a guy out of a one month veg into a 45 day and he was very happy he waited. 2x2 is pretty small but indoors you want to use every bit of space possible. Fill everything up, a scrod can help you manage massive plants. You could easily do a 60 day veg with a scrog and get damn near a qp per plant if not a little more. If you add a nice top dressing now you can skip the tiger bloom in flowering because what you've top dressed will have already broken down into useable nutrients for the plant. You could keep it 100% organic that way if you wanted and not have to worry about over feeding. Weeks 1-2 in flowering you barely use any p or k anyway it's mostly nitrogen during the stretch. When I used bottled nutes I used veg nutes through the stretch and then switch after they were done for the last 6 weeks or however long it's going to take to flower.

Thanks man! Great write up, just what I was looking for. I should have been more clear, they have been in veg about 30 days now, and I'm waiting an additional 3-4 weeks prior to switching. Ill look into the top dressing, seems legit. Recommend anything? I initially top dressed with roots organic bloom.

  6. Anything that will help flowering would be beneficial. You can make a little mix with bat guano, kelp meal, ect. Check the organic section and you can find all kinds of recipes. Something like supersoil. You won't have to wait for it to cook since you won't be in flowering for a while. By the time the plant needs it everything will be ready. If whatever you're using has been cooked, I'd assume roots bloom has been than you can wait until you start flowering to top dress. With raw materials the sooner you do it the better.

You already have a pretty good veg, like I said though being indoors you want to use every bit of space possible to maximize your yield.

  7. That would work just fine. I would wait to top dress with that until they look hungry or you start flowering. Whichever comes first.

  8. Updated pic from yesterday, I'm leaving for a week vacation on the 26th. I plan to start flowering on the 2nd when I return. Need to build an auto watering system before I leave. Any ideas? I've read a few using fish aquarium pumps? ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1418596011.460996.jpg

  9. Don't mind the lights in the back, those are for a germ compartment I'm working on lol.

  10. Water it really good and cover the soil with a foam plate or Saran Wrap or something. A week isn't that long.

  11. Just now update, lookin pretty good. ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1418698700.312717.jpg ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1418698713.046562.jpg ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1418698726.279281.jpg ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1418698735.213155.jpg

  13. Thanks man! Yeah I'd say they have about 4-4 1/2ft of head room. Hopefully that's enough. There's a bottom cabinet under them I was using for a germ/seedling room so I guess worse case I lower the platform their sitting on for additional head space.

  14. Still rockin on, two confirmed females, also a better pic of the cabinet to show how much more vertical space I have. The lights raise all the way to the top. :smoke:[ ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1419035376.687346.jpg attachment=1647778:ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1419035355.711832.jpg] ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1419035364.829195.jpg
