  1. I've never really read books but recently I've started and actually enjoy it, I wanted to know if anyone knows any really interesting reads.

  2. I've been reading quite a bit lately. I like things that are interesting, whether it be in a fantasy, philosophical or just all round interesting kind of way. The Count of Monte Cristo and The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas were really good reads. Magician by Raymond E. Feist was also good, although I felt that most of the characters lacked any real depth; it felt almost like watching a super hero movie at times. Now I'm reading the Hobbit because I'm guessing the book will be better than the movies that are currently being made of it. So far it seems like an enjoyable read.

  3. I'm 25 and enjoyed the Harry Potter series over the last year. They're a penny on Amazon. Saw the movies long time ago and the books are far superior.

  4. Robert monroe i hear is a good read and i'm going to start reading his books. Apparently it's all about lucid dreaming and other trippy stuff.

  5.
you gotta be more specific on what you genres like, maybe I can help you out

Bless tho, books have gotten me laid for a decade now, read a bunch of shit and suddenly you can have a conversation about anything

  6. I read a book recently about London gangsters and all the crimes they got away with and how prison was when they got caught, i thought it was an amazing read. Reading about other peoples lives is intersting. also i like fiction books that can make you picture the story like your actually seeing what happens in your head.

  7.
    Nice dude

I think Stephen King stands out as one of the guys whose best at making me feel and picture what goes on in the books

My favorite books and featuring the coolest motherfucker is the Joe Pitt casebooks by Charlie Huston (first one is called Already Dead, and its about turf wars between gangs in NYC)

As for nonfiction, the most interesting lives have been lived and written about  :bongin:  why not read a really good biography of whoever interests you? be it a sports star or a medieval warlord or whatever

  8. A Rose for Emily by Faulkner is really excellent. It isn't very long either. I also really like Rats in the Wall by H.P. Lovecraft.

John Dies at the End is really funny too.

I hope you keep reading, for continual literacy is a truly wonderful thing.

  9. What kind if books do you think you would be into? I had book blog for a while and I make book trailers...maybe I can recommend something.

  10. I think i'm looking for something that involves the supernatural, maybe a book about a superhero or something similar to lord of the rings?

  11. You have to check out The Sword of Shannara
