so I planted this big bud from seed about 4 weeks ago and it's only got 1 feeding so far of very mild nutrients (half of a half dose) but I'm getting some edges starting to curl up a little don't know if this was associated with the heat stress or what's going on. it took mild heat stress at week 2 for like 2 days being under a 180w LED guess I was still to close even though I was about 12-18 inches above my plant so did away with the 180w for now went back to 92watts cfl 6500k. it's doing well under the cfl but the curl just never went back down any suggestions? Looks like some very slight heat stress. Nothing significant though. What is the temp at the canopy level?
my temp was around 85 kind of low humidity for veg about 35% but it's only been without the LED for a few days if it's light/heat stress will the effect leaves recover? -theclosetgrow_420 Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
12 to 18 inches for a 180 shouldn't be a problem. My recent harvest had a canopy of 10" with SolarFlares and they have 5 watt diodes. That was too close and they didn't like it. 15" is my normal canopy. You will be fine with that. You should try to lower your temps.
