I love the woods if I had a vehicle I would spend way more time in nature and urban exploring. Currently I do some geocaching on bike/foot, there seems to be quite a few in my area. There used to be an Urban Exploration thread that was full of photos but I don't think it's as active as it once was.
I used to when I was a kid. I lived close to a bay. Used to go explore along the shore quite often. There and the woods. Haven't really explored in a few years though can you link it please
Yeah, I live in rural Tennessee so I can literally walk out my back door and get lost for a few hours... Or more. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Went exploring all the time with my brothers. Found some Anasazi ruins below the house. Tons of arrowheads and pottery sherds. The ruins even had a kiva. Found a couple of metates too. We left everything where we found it. My mom would have killed us if we had handled any of it. She didn't want us to bring any chʼįÌįdii home or get ghost sickness. We told the local college about it and they sent some archaeologists to excavate. They covered it over with dirt when they finished. Now it's a cornfield.
I live in the middle of nowhere outside of a few run down towns. I can walk out my back door and keep going for miles in almost any direction. Ive found remnants of old old old roads home sites a collapsed grist mill an old stone bridge (collapsed recently) the remains of what looked to be a horse drawn buggy of some sort. My neighbor and i even once dug up most of a model T ford that was buried for some reason. In town there are cool abandoned buildings and tunnels i love to explore. I found an old school bus inside of one of them.
Yep, I live way out the edge of nowhereland. I spend plenty of time either out hiking my own place, or off in my Jeep, camping and hiking obscure places.
spent a year and a half exploring europe, australlia and new zealand mostly outdoors. love travel and exploraition
