  2. What do your roots look like?
    May be root rot.
    Flush, clean fresh nutes.

  3. Check your ph

  4. Personally I wouldn't worry to much about it right now. She's young and learning how to grow. Just watch your Temps watch your ppm and make sure you have good oxygen in the bucket. The new growth looks fine that's what you should worry about at this point.

  5. My DWC was starting to look like this and gradually would get worse. My PH was jumping all over the place(don't know why). I freaked out and put everything in soil. It saved them but want to grow with hydro so I have mixed feeling.

  6. It looks like you need to add calcium... What kind of nutrients are you using right now? And have you been changing the water weekly? A calcium deficiency can cause a bad root rot but looks like you have time to fix it

  7. And your roots are exposed to the light so that can be the reason also... You can cut a piece of black plastic and put it over the cubes to block the light it will keep mold out also!!

  8. I found DWC problematic

I tried all hydro methods and find F & D with outboard rez, the easiest, and problem free

See my DIY Mini-Me F & D in the hydro section

  9. Well first of all alot has to do with what you are feeding the plants. If your ph is going up and down alot from day to day. That show that you have a feeding problem. Most people in hydroponics don't realize how important the feeding nutrients

The first step to growing in hydroponics has to be a stable feeding formula and schedule. Feeding your plants with the right nutrients and the right brand of nutrients is the most important thing next to the climate in your grow room.

I would set the p.h to 6.4 in dwc and keep the ppm at about 1220. Depending on what digital meter you are using also. why? because longtime growers know that brands of digital meters read differently. The difference is sometimes hundreds of ppm's that can kill your crop.

I personally would suggest growing in hydroponics using six inch cubes to flower out two foot plants.

Check out the "45 day formula" from james kushfella. I have been growing marijuana in hydroponics successfully for over 20 years. I have a surefire formula that keeps your p.h. stable as possible and you can easily harvest in 45 days of flowering.

Dont waste your time experimenting to find out what works...that can take years. Instead use a feeding formula that has an exact and day to day feeding formula that tells you how much exactly to feed your plants and what brand of nutrients to use.

Alot of people are not aware of the lock-up of nutrients when they mix the wrong type of nutrients together that do not mix well.

That is why it is important to know what nutrients work together and which  ones wont.

You can go to MarijuanaMillionaire site and see the available information.

DWC is alot more easier than you think if you use the right nutrients. That is the secret most hydroponic growers don't mention. And usually that is what a grower doesnt' share, once he has one that works like clockwork. But I have decided to share the feeding formula as that is the most important part to succeed in hydroponics. Happy Growing!

From the looks of it it can be nutri-burn.

Have you already started to feed them?

  11. lol What?!

    ph to 6.0

if ur ph is swinging that much, odds are nutrient strength is an issue

    shouldn't swing but .01-.04 between topoffs[IMG]

  14. with 400 watt hps lamp at proper 20-22 celcius condition u will get 500 gr wet - 100 gr dry per plant

i also add tarantula - canna sugar - root juice "biobizz" and sensiyzm and ph down

  15. this is also depending the size of tank. If you have a big tank ph will not move rapidly ...

Looks like a salt burn.... what are the ppms of your water before and after you add nutes?
    Also what is your pH?

  17. Could someone help me I have holes in random places on my plant it's doing very well roots are white drinking equal amounts of nutrients and water I've checked for pest none found humidity is around 40 to 50 water temp stay about 65 to 68 always. Using sensi grow a and b & cali magic rapid start Diamond nectar hydroguard and superthrive one drop per gallon. 450 ppm & 6.2 ph. I ph down to 5.7 or 8 but it always goes back to 6.2 and stays there
