First time growers always get freaked out when they see these...all cannabis plants have these...throw those in with your trim as they normally are covered in trichomes Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
i don't see any male flowers. keep an eye out as the plants continue to bud. it's my understanding that most "female" marijuana plants are hermies but the male flowers are recessive until the plant is stressed. This is due to bad breeding practices. If it is a herm, the male flowers would have already shown in full force, or you will see isolated areas of male flowers around week 6 or so of flowering.
Some of this is true. Female plants only have female flowers. Male plants have male flowers. Cannabis can hermie both ways. If a female has pollen sacks or nanners, it is a hermie. IF a male plant happens to grow buds, it is a hermie. They can mutate hermie for any number of reasons. I would sum it up to one word, stress. Stress from heat, cold, humidity, PH,or even as simple as a light leak. Sometimes plants from the highest genetics can hermie just from PH flux. Pollen sacks can show up ANY time. Three days before harvest or three days after introduction to flower, they can show up.
